Too much fog in scuba masks

I bought this for swimming and it seems to work very well and keep my ears dry. Unfortunately, the glasses fog up heavily even after the recommended cleaning. I've tried using an anti-fog spray, but visibility isn't very good with it. My son's cheap goggles don't fog up and we don't need fog goggles, I don't know why for a $100 pair.

It's amazing your ears stay dry!

Simply amazing! I can't fill my ears with water because of a ruptured eardrum that won't heal. I bought them and was a little skeptical but I went to Mexico and was able to dive deeper than I had ever in my life and for the first time I was in the water without ear plugs. This is fantastic for those who want dry ears.

Good not very good for diving and snorkeling

I sometimes have alignment problems, that's why I bought this mask. Although I still had to walk slowly the first 30 feet of the descent, I was able to keep up with the group and had no lasting problems at depth. The mask worked well but even after repeated anti-fog treatments I continued to have problems. My hair is pretty short, but still tangles around my ears from time to time, so don't expect a totally dry scenario. Overall the mask performed well on 4 dives in Roatan to a maximum depth of

IST Pro Ear 2000 in water sports

I bought this mask because I realized that I can no longer compensate my ears satisfactorily. I can't dive without this mask. Yes, it's sad. Before entering the water you have to be very patient because the harness has to fit very snugly on the back of the head, which means that the ears are clearly covered by the water. I had to cut my hair and beard to cover my ears. Even after washing with water or other chemicals, air tends to condense inside the glass. Remember: when you jump in the water,

Worked great for me!

I was in Mexico on my honeymoon last week and bought this mask before I left. For as long as I can remember I have had problems with water getting in my right ear and not getting it out. I thought it was due to a small perforation of the eardrum, but a few years ago I was told that was not the case. But the water gets in my ear and won't come out, and I end up getting an ear infection and hearing problems until the water is removed. But I also like to dive when the opportunity arises, so I…

If you have perforated eardrums or sensitive ears, READ IT!

This will be long, but worth reading for everyone who thinks along! For the past year I have struggled with treatments and surgery for stage 3 breast cancer. As I continue to live the life I love and try to keep living it, some of my greatest happiness comes from water! Namely snorkeling and underwater photography. I had a perforated eardrum because of chemotherapy. Who even knew this was a possible side effect?! This was discovered when I tried surfing twice this summer and both times when I…

Great mask - keeps ears dry and protected!

I have always had trouble balancing my ears and on my first certification dive I punctured both eardrums. I discovered this mask while researching what I need to do to dive and if I can even dive with a perforated eardrum. This is an incredible mask and has allowed me to dive with everyone I have traveled with despite my ear issues. First of all, this is a good quality mask: I never had any problems with lens fogging (I had with my previous mask) and the front seals fit my face perfectly. The…
