Poor Quality Cutting Tool

Based on my experience, this industrial drill bit is not worth the price. The carbide tip dulls quickly and requires frequent replacement. The bit also tends to overheat easily, causing it to bend or warp during use.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, requires frequent replacement.

It was the only piece that went through the steel.

This was the only piece that could be cut through the steel bumper of my Mercedes E350 to install the trailer hitch. Even then, the tips of the flutes splintered a bit, but the bit stayed sharp. Very expensive, but sometimes you have to spend money.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • So far so good

bought for drilling 17/32" holes in 1/2" HR insert on our milling machine. Brand new, they just have blue chips strewn all over the place instead of swirls. The groove diameter was 0.5340 inch and the carbide groove diameter was 0.5250 inch. The unhardened grooves will cut into the walls of the hole and rub on first use. We drilled 10,000 holes with another brand of carbide burs with excellent results. cheap So i think it deserves a star?

Pros
  • jobber drill bits
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was some
