Perfect size for short riders

We bought this bike for my 4 year old for his birthday. It was very easy and quick to set up. He loved it but it took him a while to warm up to actually ride it and now he drives it all over the place. He likes to move fast and put his feet on the small deck. It's quite a small bike and he'll outgrow it before he's 5, but he has a little brother who will be waiting for him when he gets a pedal bike. I think the average kid can learn to ride a real bike after learning how to balance on that…

very durable suitable for tricycles, scooters and vans

This bike is for my 3 year old grandson. He was very happy with it and loves to run in it, but hasn't quite figured out how to get his feet off the ground so he can move faster. Although I know that he will soon understand everything. I've never liked bikes with training wheels as I've seen many of them tip over if they cornered too hard or went off the pavement and the kid's feet couldn't touch the ground. These wheels prevent this because you can just put your feet down and stop the fall…

Wheels not round

This is our second purchase of a Joystar balance bike. The first was great and we had no problems. However, this one (12") has both wheels that are not round. It doesn't seem to affect our son's driving ability in any way, but I'm worried it might happen in the future. When he gains enough experience and starts faster to ride (with your feet on the running board) I don't know if this will cause any problems with the handling of the bike. For a price of 60 euros even a tiny children's bike should

Comparable to more expensive brands

We've spent a lot of time researching wheels and I like that they're on par with more expensive bikes but at half the price. I wish the seat was an inch lower as it's too high for our twin girls at the moment. A Strider's seat can only sit 11 inches, which is 12.6 inches. However, every other wheel I looked at was about 13.5 inches. As a result, it sits lower than most. Our bike arrived with scratches on the handlebars. Not enough for us to return but a little disappointing with a brand new…

Poor product for tricycles, scooters and vans

We bought this for our 2 year old for Christmas. The bike frame color differed from the handlebar color where they had to match. The body of the bike was an odd light blue, but the handlebars were turquoise. We were also concerned about the bike's durability because it felt cheap and fragile. Crucially though, I realized that to adjust the handlebar height I MUST use the 'special tool' that came with the bike. There was no locking mechanism that could be raised and lowered like every other…

Super light but forward control shifts

Ultra light so little toes don't get hurt. seems solid but sometimes I need to line up the front wheel with the handlebars. It is possible with tools but you still need a key. my older 6 year old loves it more than the 2 year old I bought it for. Still too tall even though 10 inch was the shortest bike. Plastic wheel so I don't worry about leaks or pumps, soft leather seat can be raised for my 6 year old. But both children have lost interest, now it's a "wounded horse" to role play in the…

Fairly disappointed

I'm quite disappointed with this product. The instructions were terrible. Came with 6 sets of instructions that appear to be the same but in different colors and 6 steps with tiny pictures and a short set description for each step. I really struggled to put the handlebars and tires on. I also had to use my own tools to tighten the screws. Perhaps the most disappointing part is the footrest. When I took it out of the box, it was barely screwed down with a screw. I could find 2 more screws in the
