Perfect for gaskets

I liked that it's perfect for installing 4x4 hub vacuum gaskets. You really can't do anything with this tool. It fits the hub perfectly. The only thing I don't like is how expensive it is that you only use it once. But either buy a tool or take it to a shop that has a tool.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Weak

Out of tolerance, does not work on F250

Did not fit the 2007 F250 axle, the bore was too small and required a lot of grinding before it could slide on the axle. Even with the tool fully seated in the knuckle, the axle seal still had a long way to go before it was fully seated on the axle. Really bad quality tool, caused more trouble than it was worth

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • Out of style

Perfect tool for a 2008 F250 Xlt crew, very heavy

Wow, that thing is very heavy. Should weigh about 15 pounds and be solid metal. Can be hit with a five pound hammer. Just watch a few YouTube videos and you'll find you can hardly nail it. These tools are required when removing or replacing the front wheel hub and bearing assembly. After use you will notice slight dents on the top, but this is only a cosmetic effect. This thing lasts forever

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Tools must be! Almost perfect used condition.

My truck is a 2004 Harley-Davidson Edition F250. It arrived a day early. I was very surprised when it arrived. I bought it used and it looked like it had been used once in the press. So no hammer marks on it. Now it has hammer blows from me. Rschunimagu. But I saved money and it was great. Worked great and I messed up a previous print trying to make my own DIY tool. With that it was child's play. super easy. A MUST HAVE TOOL!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Almost never

Not very good for the price

I am disappointed with this product! Although it is designed for heavy use and can be used in a professional auto repair shop, the machine performs poorly. I had to spend an hour getting the grinder to open the center hole just enough to slide over the spindle. The upper part was welded off-centre. Once I removed enough material to slide over the spindle it worked great, which is very important when installing these vacuum seals. For the price I wouldn't have to work on a brand new tool to get…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not sure

Makes installing that big seal easy and precise

This is a big, heavy tool for a big seal in a big, heavy differential! You could do without it, but it makes getting this big seal at the right depth so easy that it's worth it! It's easy to bend, dent, and break any of these seals when placing them, but using this tool completely eliminates that risk. For the price of these seals, it was a no brainer to me. One of those tools that makes you wonder how you got by without it for so long.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

50/50 chance it will work

This tool was needed to make ball joints on my 2006 F-250 and it didn't even fit in the hub bore. The listing says it takes a hit. It's not true that the tool was immediately dented with a hammer and stuck about 3/4 inch in the hub. I had to hit him to get him out. Now realize that you have been in the automotive industry for 24 years and prefer to do your own work. But this tool was a waste of money - it didn't fit. Didn't use it, had to buy another local tool to fit the hub and yes the hub…
