Braking system better than stock

Much better handling and braking performance at high speeds. Low speed requires a little more pedal pressure, but that's not a problem. Bearing outer rings pre-assembled.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not sure

Fantastic brakes on brake kits

Without a doubt the best upgrade I've made to my Fox Body Mustang. Due to the weak stopping power of the factory brakes, it was a night and day difference with this set. Stops on a dime

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Useless features

Excellent Brakes: Replacement parts

I switched from the stock front pads and rotors to these and they hold up much better. I read a lot of good reviews so I had to try it myself. I've only ridden a few hundred miles so not sure about wear yet, but they hold up better than stock.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Installed in my '91 Mustang GT Convertible today. My old rotors were completely warped. I put them on and now they hold up perfectly. One thing I noticed (FYI) was that the pins on the back of the pads were definitely different than the stock pins. I had to use pliers to bend the teeth so I could fit them into the caliper piston area. However, the outer (large) pad fits fairly well. Make sure you take the recommended treatment breaks and you'll be fine. Mine actually smoked a bit during the…
