Description of ๐Ÿš€ Enhanced Front Brake Kit: Power Stop K1914 with Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads and Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors

Power Stop Carbon-fiber ceramic compound significantly enhances braking performance versus traditional ceramic brake pads. Low dust braking validated through on-vehicle 3rd party tests in Los Angeles, showing on average 30% less dust versus OE. Dual layer high temp rubberized shims insulate noise for virtually silent braking. Drilled & Slotted performance rotors for maximum cooling. They are zinc plated for maximum protection against rust. Brake rotor, pad & hardware engineered to work together to increase stopping power, improve durability & eliminate dust.

Epic failure! for brake kits

Cracked within 6 months from the holes through the rotor edge to the breather holes. Drove her about 5k km, now it is necessary to change. I won't buy anymore. Spend a little more and get something better.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Tell me about a simple installation. Excellent product

Easy to install. Good product. I swear, it seemed to me that the braking distance at speed was reduced by 10 feet. I installed them on a 2000 F-150 so remember it's not such a bad idea as you will need to remove the wheel bearings from the old rotors but also new bearings.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Poor repairability

Worth the price. for brake system

Pretty surprised. Everything fits, including all springs/guides. After the break procedure there were no problems. The braking distance to the cold seems to have increased, after warming up it seems shorter than normal. Nothing radical though. You still need an inner seal (Timken 4148) and a new cotter pin. You may also need an external dust cover if you're not careful. Also repack the bearings. My biggest criticism was the shipping packaging. It was a box of thin plywood. Completely destroyed.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
