Great keyhole cutter!

Good price great performance. I cut a few keyholes in pine and this cutter went through with no problems. Better yet, you don't have to pre-drill a pilot hole as it (with light pressure) will do all the work by itself. I'm very glad I bought this beat. The plastic body is a nice touch.

Pros
  • Precision CNC Grinding
Cons
  • Expensive

You can easily burn if your pitch and speed are right and when.

Nice part. I have now bought two of these. They work fine on my CNC router. They can burn easily if your feeds and speeds are correct, and if they become blunt they have a very difficult time penetrating the material.

Pros
  • Anti-kickback design
Cons
  • I will add later

Like a knife through butter.

It's not a lot but it was just the size I needed. I was concerned that the bit might be brittle in hard wood so I bought 2 just in case. I cut out most of the material with a straight drill BEFORE setting up the keyhole/T-slot cutout. So this tiny cutter only survived being cut through the actual slit. The bit worked great and stayed sharp through over 50 feet of slot in the maple groove. The groove is a little hard to see in the photo above left. Really very satisfied.

Pros
  • Nonstick
Cons
  • Expensive
