Excellent value for the quality tools you get in this set. They are neatly packed in a rolled bag that closes with Velcro. The steel is strong and sturdy, and I haven't noticed any dents or damage to the tongs while using them. The sharp edges work great on some and overall the whole set was very useful!

I'm giving this 5 because it's perfect for what it is and comes in a nice case. Personally, I was a bit surprised that they are so "mini". I'm sure they're great for small hobby projects and "fine" jobs, but they don't do well in my large construction tool box, which is what I wanted them for.

I bought these to work with small fragile electronics and they work great for that. They are convenient to use, the jaws are aligned, and the loops are tight. Not sure why anyone would rate "mini" pliers lower than "mini" but understand. Yes, these are small, not large pliers. They are exactly as described and I think having a variety of precision pliers is good value for money.

Better finish and attention to detail than Harbor Freight or Kmart. Not as good as established brands like Craftsman or Stanley. Far below the professional tools. The main indicator I look at is shorting of cutting blades in cutting tools; they meet at least completely seamlessly. They still have an overlap where they should make contact with the anvil, so they don't make clean cuts in malleable materials.

So far most of the pliers I have used have worked well with one exception being the 'needle tip'. The tip of the pliers didn't close, there was a gap of about 1/4 inch from the tip to the point where the two jaws finally meet. This gap prevented material from being caught or held at the tip. in the middle so they close tightly all the way. A quality control flaw, but not a big deal unless you have to use the tip of a pair of pliers when working.
