Fantastic product - worth the money!

I LOVE THESE GOALS! Would recommend to anyone having trouble finding a way to safely block stairs. Due to some design elements we couldn't use the 'traditional gate' which is usually located between the door/stairs. (Most of the gates we examined were cocked or allowed to be mounted on hardware, but only in the 'cocked' position, i.e. between the doorway and the stairway). The corner attachment allowed attachment to the wall of the hallway (see photo). It is very durable and is attached with…

Sturdy but very difficult to install

Purchased as it was one of the few angled installation options. Everything you need for assembly, clear instructions and assembly aids, is there at first glance. Firstly, once installed, it is a very strong and durable gate. The locking system is easy for adults to use but very difficult for kids (both of my kids never even came close to opening it). In general, I am satisfied with the purchase and I recommend the door to others. However, the installation takes a long time. Although I deducted…

The parts wouldn't fit right away but we like the gate

All the screws supplied were the same length and matched the description in the instructions for the shorter screws. However, you would not screw the hinges and handle to the frame. I believe that the sockets that the screws go into weren't drilled deep enough and the screws didn't come out. Not wanting to go to the store looking for the right size metric screws, I decided to use three #6 flat washers which I ended up with over four screw heads as shown in the picture. Then they would all be…

Works for odd angles

Not an engineer but work with them! I regularly interpret drawings of hydraulic flow control components and my husband uses design software. We needed a puppy gate for a door sill with an odd angle. While it worked, it was ridiculously difficult to install. A mark on the white parts would really help because they don't match intuitively. The pictures on the box proved to be more helpful than the "instructions". We also received an extra extension piece. which had no useful direction. - The…

Don't rush the installation.

I needed a gate my husband wouldn't trip over. That means no pressure gates. You top up the account. We don't have a ladder, but we needed something that can be attached to the wall. My son installed it. The one in the door was the easiest, but the one in the hall was a problem. My son is sure that he did something wrong during installation. It still works well, but not as smoothly as the one in the doorway. When installing this gate, take your time to ensure everything is aligned. Due to its…

Strong complex assembly

This gate seems to be quite strong. We had wooden ones, and the dogs would break them from time to time, so we looked for a more durable option. The weak point will be the mounting hardware, it's all plastic, but time will tell. Collecting this element was quite painful. It's not very intuitive and the instructions are unclear. I bought 2 and one was missing parts so I am waiting for the manufacturer to send me the parts. But in the end I found a gate and hung it on the wall. Once hung they are

Closing the gate is like docking a spaceship

Worst installation instructions! If my father would help me who has a super mechanical mindset and berated and berated him during the 3 hour installation of this horrible product. (It took half an hour to cut out the wood and tape it to the railing to create a flat mounting surface.) None of the pieces are individually labeled, and many look the same, so have fun disassembling. They tell you to assemble the gate. Width before hanging loops. I'm going to tell you to attach the hinges first, then

Love hate relationship with an inanimate object

Ok after reading other reviews I expected a long install. The install was moderately difficult and I'm a guy used to installing things around the house. In fact, I had to give this thing up for a day. First impression: - I saw the rust on the ends as soon as I opened the box. The rust was visible through the plastic wrap. - This goal is a lot harder than it needs to be. be. I'm an engineer and gosh, this thing is incredibly difficult to install (assembly was a breeze) - there are no…
