Easy to read in the kitchen and dining room

Good instant read thermometer Although I wish you could turn it off, it has 10 minutes of battery life, but that's 10 minutes of battery life every time you turn it on.

Easy to use for kitchen utensils and gadgets

I had a similar thermometer and when it broke after a few years I wanted to get a different one. As soon as you open it, it turns on. You can easily switch from C to F. I've found that when I cook a chicken that's supposed to be heated to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, it beeps when you walk past it. I didn't do anything for it.

Excellent meat thermometer with instant reading.

Now I have 3. Excellent instant reading waterproof thermometer. Convenient temperature chart of the meat on the sticker, easy to read numbers, nice sharp point to measure tenderness. Includes bottle opener with handle and magnet. Even a spare battery is included. How could it be wrong?

Very accurate, practical

The color impressed me. This thermometer worked right away. I tested it in warm liquid and with a loaf of baked bread and got an accurate reading. Basically you just lay out the sensor and the screen will flash instantly. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit and it comes with an extra battery, which is very convenient. No complaints. I'll put that to good use.

So easy to use - everyone needs it

I always had one of those old high school meat thermometers - the one you stick in the meat and wait for the needle to reach the temperature of the food. I hated it - sometimes it took forever to see what temperature my meat was and I was never entirely sure it was absolutely accurate. Practical instant thermometer.

I had the exact same instantaneous thermometer that wore out after a year of continuous use (sourdough bread and bbq). I have another one just like it because I love how comfortable it is! The probe folds into a device and attaches to a small slot on the handle. With good eyesight, the digital display is easy to read. (It's a bit difficult for my old eyes that need some help). There's a light you can turn on to see that I'm dark. There is also a list of temperatures for different types of meat.

Swiss Army Knife with digital thermometer

What do I like? It's very easy to use. Expand the probe and it turns on. As advertised, the probe is long enough to be inserted deeply without getting too close to the heat to burn your hand. Flip it up and it turns off. I haven't tested the waterproofness (other than washing the probe) but if it's true, that's good. I tested the magnet and it sticks and holds which is good as this thermometer is quite large. The backlight also comes in handy when you're barbecuing outside at night. The package
