This is the most beautiful knife

This is the most beautiful knife I have seen in years. I started loving Damascus steel 12 years ago when someone gave me a small Japanese knife, but this is the most beautiful knife I have ever seen.

Sharp and smooth as butter

The best chef's knife I've ever bought. Is there a better one? I'm sure they are, but they will cost you over $100, this will do the same for about $30. I cut fine paper hair with this knife, it's worth the money and I would buy another one, hope it helps

This is a great knife for the money.

For the money you're spending, this is a great knife. If you think you're getting Japanese forged German steel, you'll be sad. Compared to my high quality set of similar ones, they have a dull sound when bouncing off the tabletop. Considering it was pennies on the dollar of my set, I still give it four stars. It still stays sharp, has a good balance and the handle is quite nice and feels good in the hand.

Very good knife, the best among cutlery and knife accessories

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and edge retention of this knife. We liked it so much we bought two more to have on hand. Initially I was concerned about the knife's light weight, so I tried it on myself and prepared for a large business dinner - the blade held up perfectly and the light weight didn't interfere with cutting tough-skinned vegetables or chicken. The only complaint is that the flex of the grip and trim takes some getting used to - we ended up treating the trim to reduce…

Excellent knife! in Kitchen & Dining

I've looked at this before but it seems to have been removed. I take knives seriously and this has become one of my top 3 favorites. I am 78 years old, my hands are damaged from arthritis and accidents. With age, the optimal angle between the blade and what needs to be cut has changed. Aside from the special occasions of boning, butchering, slaughtering, etc., I now use a curved forge blade fit for butchering musk oxen, a $300 Wusthof 6-inch chef's blade, and this 8-inch chef's blade. My only…

Fake Damascus. great knife.

I've had it for about two years now. I took good care of him. It still holds up and has an amazing edge despite the steel being a bit soft. This has its pros and cons. The decorative damascus is beginning to fade, but the blade is still a brilliant silver colour. The wood in the handle has been well cared for and still feels like new today. Just a bit worn out at the moment. All in all, this is a great knife. Just take care of it.

Pros
  • This German knife has a roller - a thick metal sleeve - between the blade and the handle. The cutting area and the handle area are well separated, which increases safety when cutting food with a knife. Knives have full cheeks that reach to the edge of the blade. This can help balance heavy knives when you need more handle weight. The look of the blade has been carefully designed; The blade features a laser damask pattern.
