Look out for the BS Lifetime Warranty

Due to worn plier teeth called the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. So you no longer cut the tire cable. They said they would not honor the lifetime warranty for this reason. They pretty much present the lifetime warranty as a publicity stunt. Don't waste money on them. Buy your hard earned money with small tools from USA. Who actually has a lifetime guarantee?

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Knipex Unbeatable quality

Excellent quality, good value for money. I've had Craftsman for years, but their newest stuff is Chinese junk. I had other Knipex knives and liked their quality, so I bought these knives. After a year of operation, they look and function like new. I cut all sorts of things with these cutters, and mostly I cut stainless steel screws, which usually hasten the decline of cutters. A very hard metal is produced during Knipex forging, which at least does not disintegrate in the case of stainless…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Weight

Easy, quiet running, great cutting edges

One thing I've noticed about Knipex tools, their steel seems a little lighter than others, but always just as much or evenly more. These tongs worked smoothly out of the box and I oiled them anyway to stop them breaking and make them even smoother. At first they dangled at the end (at first it seems all pliers do), and now they open and close freely. Haven't handled it too roughly yet, just copper wire and blanket wires and maybe some sheet metal, but so far no gaps have been found unlike…

Pros
  • Great leverage means less power as the rivet is closer to the cutting edge
Cons
  • No power

Excellent Best Diagonal Cutters Yet

I actually bought these for home use which many would think was an overkill. But I hate cheap tools. I hate waste, I hate letting someone profit from making disposable tools. To be honest, the hardest job you've ever seen is cutting mild steel wire on rare occasions. Now let's come to the product itself: They fit comfortably in the hand and close gently without play. They cut cleanly through thin sheets of paper and effortlessly cut cable ties. I expect that like all good instruments they will…

Pros
  • Requires 20% less effort than traditional Diagonal Cutters of the same length
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great tool that has nested in my tool bag

Commercial electrician bought them for a part time job doing home renovations. I like how they are angled which allows me to pull the staples. The grip feels good in the hand and they cut through almost everything I need (apart from the old rusty steel BX, but I didn't expect them to be). The cut edges match perfectly. What impressed me the most was the overall fit and finish. I bought these at my local hardware store for less than a pair of Klein wire cutters and they are comparable or even…

Pros
  • Precision cutting edges
Cons
  • Crumpled
