Burr so beautiful it has a "big head "

I know it says "tool diameters are approximate and do not include coating thickness" but I didn't expect it to be around 2mm are more! Approximately there will be a tenth or two variations. Nice ridge but totally useless for me as the size is about 65% larger than advertised. This is a measurable difference that should have been reflected in more detail. To clarify, the rod diameter is perfect, but the tungsten coated drill head is about 5mm wide, not about 3.1mm as advertised. If you want aโ€ฆ

Does the job! About cutting tools

I am new to using this type of tool but my first impressions are good. I use it to carve a bowl out of wooden spoons. He has shown an admirable performance. This easily saved hours of intricate knife carving. Obviously this is a very aggressive drill that removes a lot of material. Don't expect your wood carving projects to come out smooth with this baby, that's what high grit sandpaper is for. So far I have used it on a single walnut wood spoon and there has been no sign of wear after usingโ€ฆ

Did a great job! Best in Cutting Tools

I bought this for some solid core doors that were old enough to have really tiny holes for the original door handles. The previous owner apparently attempted to install new doorknobs while completely stoned. I discovered amoeba-shaped holes in the door while filming the world's ugliest doorknobs. The sheer randomness of the amoeba holes made it impossible to use a hole saw. This little ridge on my Dremel allowed me to work outwards after I found where the center of the latch should be and onlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Nothing

I have a job where I remove and replace about 400 linear feet of baseboard and install a new black baseboard. I want to deal with inside corner joints and by my count I have 28 inside corners to cut and finish. 45-degree bevels never work properly, walls are never square or vertical, and wood paneling moves with humidity changes. 45 degree chamfers result in visible gaps at inside corners, especially when working with black surfaces. I don't like and don't use putty and I need tight joints that

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity
