Very happy with this entrance lock

I am very happy with this entrance lock. Installation took less than 10 minutes, works great! The reason I removed the point is because the inner arm was not attached. As someone who has never installed a lock before I had to figure it out as there were no instructions. The second reason is that the striker is too small for the current situation. Despite my 2 problems I would buy this lock again.

Affordable, Reliable Lever Door Handles

I have purchased several of these lever door locks at my new shop and garage. I've found over the years that I really like the convenience of a lever, rather than a handle, for opening doors, and while they may not make the perfect locks or door hardware, I've always had good luck with the Kwikset brand, ie me I have remained loyal to them. The included hardware is easy to install and easily adapts to most standard doors. Time will tell if this was a wise choice but my other locks and hardware…

Instructions Bad - Door fittings and locks

Today I installed the door handle. Quality corresponds to the price, but not outstanding. The inner arm is detached and attached to the bezel by threading a small set screw, already in the bezel mechanism, through the hole in the arm. The instructions don't say anything about this, but after looking at it for a minute I decided it needed a hole and set screw, along with the long hex wrench that came with the kit. The set screw is against the threads and I was probably close to removing the…
