No problem, perfect fit, great running

My 2005 4runner feels like new, didn't realize how bad mine were until I put them on, simplicity Installations, OEM quality

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

One took 3 months

I fitted the rear to a Lexus GX470 on December 20th 2018 but was feeling very uncomfortable and found a side damper was leaking. I do not recommend this for the Lexus GX470.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No

GET IT!: Shock Absorbers

My 4Runner loves the new life it's given it. Both racks (one-piece "corner" cartridges) replaced in front and KYB installed in rear. I noticed a difference in the first 2 minutes of the ride. As I said, new life for my favorite car!

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

As the name suggests

Replacement OE, (Exaxt Fit). As the name suggests, Excel-G. You feel great! My car had original factory shocks and had 142,000 miles on it, that was the time. Other than that I am 100% satisfied, I am forever a KYB rider because they really seem like they were made to order for me. I hope you have the same experience.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Great product, great price

Great product, great price. Easy installation after removing the original hardware. I would give it 5 stars but the installation guide was very confusing. After contacting the company directly, a smart customer service rep emailed me a simple washer/sleeve diagram. This chart in a box prevents fear.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Doubtful

My SUV drives like new!

Installed in the rear of a 2004 Lexus GX470 with 191,000 miles and original electronic dampers. I know it's for a 2004 Toyota 4Runner, but they mount directly to the GX470. I did the same for the front with matching KYB struts. I just unplugged the Lexus electronic controls that were mounted on top and zipped the ends together after wrapping them in waterproof foil. I may have lost the ability to choose a smooth or sporty ride that I never used anyway, but I saved over $2,000 and the SUV drives

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some cons

So far, so good. - Shocks

These shocks ride well, are a little stiffer than Tokico's OEM Tokyo 4Runner shocks and appear to be of good quality so far. Compared to equivalent Monroe shocks, they are much better and ride over bumps better than road-sensitive Monroe shocks. I'm sure they are made to a higher standard than other OEM replacement shocks. The 2007 4Runner with these shocks handles very much like a car and is very smooth over bumps, but the ride is a bit more truck-like (as it does with the new KYB front brace,

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Easy to install, looks great, rides great! Perfect fit for the 2004 4Runner!

I don't normally write reviews but this product had to. The shock absorbers are perfect for me! My old ones (as seen in the photos) were completely broken and should have been replaced some time ago. Luckily I was able to watch a lot of videos/tutorials on how to install it. The old ones had screws that were so rusty I had to use a saber saw to remove them (which actually worked). In any case, after removing the old ones, I was able to install the new ones in 10-15 minutes. minutes (maybe 5-10โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
