Very nice knife, Revain's photos don't do it justice. I almost feel guilty for keeping it in the closet. But I take it to show my friends. Boxing is great too. Now I need to learn the knife skills associated with this type of knife. Look forward to something.

Not recommended. There are finishing issues. The metal shaft is wider than the handles, you can feel the metal edge when you put your hand on the handle. Dalstrong makes higher quality products for the same price.

It was nicely packaged in a nice box and with a protective sleeve. I love that it's German steel and full shank so it doesn't break like cheap scalps. After carefully researching several splitting devices that met my criteria (some more expensive, some cheaper) and had good reviews, this was a solid choice.

Excellent knife for the money! I was impressed with the quality and the price, it has an ergonomic grip and a balanced design. Works well with anything, meat, whole chicken pieces, veggies - even the packaging is very elegant and pretty, even with a lifetime guarantee I have to buy more for Christmas!

The ergonomics of this cleaver are perfect. This is a beautiful super sharp blade. And a very heavy handle that makes cutting a pleasure. Of course, one should always exercise extreme caution when using such a sharp blade. I think the price stole. Comes with a blade guard but don't trust it because it's open to allow the blade to slide out. Just be careful and have fun slicing and slicing to your heart's content.

Warning! It's really drastic. you have been warned He cuts the chicken like paper. This item is SURGICALLY sharp out of the box. I wore the same plastic serving gloves to carve the chicken and I had a small protrusion on part of my finger that separated the fingertip cleanly as if it were butter. The knife is a good weight and well packaged but looks like a very thin and fragile blade. It comes with a nice case and as long as you take good care of it it should be fine. Just what I was looking for in a knife. At first it seemed clumsy to use as it's very heavy, about a pound or so, but by the weight I make it so easy to cook. I was looking for a paring knife and found that my 12 inch chef's knife wasn't heavy enough or big enough to easily cut through large vegetables.
