I haven't tried it because it will cost me money, but I bought it and sent it to a friend who lives alone in another city. she loved it.

This is great as it has a door tray holder so the driver can access it without having to search. It was also easy to install.

I found it easy to assemble and very comfortable to get in and out of. I hope I never have to use it, but knowing it's there gives me peace of mind.

Since I have not used this device yet, thank God. I thought the part that breaks the glass was steel or some other hard metal. It's not, it's made of hard plastic, which limits its lifespan. I should have researched more thoroughly.

I haven't tried breaking glass but I have no doubt it will work as advertised. I pressed it against a wooden board and the ceramic tip dented it without much effort on my part. I clipped it to the side of the bottom pocket on my jeep's driver's door.

Oh! I'm sure I wanted this to work as advertised, but it didn't work. A few months ago I was in an accident and couldn't open the car door or break the window. I learned my lesson and decided to buy this product just in case. I tested the LifeHammer on an auto glass that I hit with it 4 times and didn't shatter. It left little marks on the glass, like a splinter from a small rock on the windshield. So I took a hammer and hit the glass and it shattered. Don't buy this and don't trust it.

On Tuesday I drove to work as usual. It was raining heavily and this chick in the right lane aquaplaned across three lanes, spun, rolled, hit trees and burned. It was a car in the middle lane that nearly hit her, so she panicked, locked her brakes, aquaplaned, and also crashed into a tree.
