Works great but is not waterproof.

Bought this device to try as a kayaking cadence sensor. I was tempted by the declared protection class IPX7, which turned out to be complete nonsense. To my pleasant surprise, the device works great for paddling, but my application definitely requires some ingenuity in terms of waterproofing. It's probably "good" for cycling as long as you don't splash water on it when you clean it. I use it with Edge 130 and it connects over BLE right away, it also connects over BLE to my Android phone when I…

Has been working as expected for a few months

I've been using this product for several months now, including in harsh winter conditions and heavy rain, and never gave it a second thought. The glue still works and the device doesn't move at all. I set it up with my travel maps app under armor and as long as BT is on on my phone it just works. I've used it with my Fitbit and BT headphones plugged in while cycling and had no issues. I thought it might be the battery and in fact the built in one was dead. The spare part has been checked well, but the cadence values are still missing. After further experimentation I found that I only get a good sensor signal in the app if I hold the sensor about 2.5 cm away from the phone - that won't work! The

Cheap alternative to Garmin.

Ordered on the 7th and received on the 24th. Came straight from China. No reference, as in all other reviews of similar items. Came with a spare battery and a few extra mounting washers for double sided tape and zip ties. Just shake the sensor and it will instantly pair with my Garmin Vivoactive 3. Once installed, spin the pedals to wake it up and it will connect. I'm not sure if there was an Ant+ or Bluetooth connection as the Vivoactive 3 has both. Ridden for 53 minutes, cadence was reliable…
