Exactly what I wanted Good for Hardware

I needed an attractive transition from bathroom tile to hallway carpet, this worked perfectly. My husband had to make a few cuts/notches to conform to the contours of the door frame and remove the grout, but it wasn't much of a job for him.

Pros
  • Hardware
Cons
  • Damaged

Looks Great - Sleepers

This hardwood to carpet adapter looks great, is painted and is just the perfect adapter we need to join our tile floors to carpet. We cut it to the size of the doorway, install it according to the instructions and voila! That's all it takes to make it work.

Pros
  • Sleepers
Cons
  • A few little things

A little narrow. on Hardware

This piece is only 1.75 inches wide. It can work in many transition areas, but I needed it to be both wider and taller to accommodate the 3/4 inch height difference. This piece can accommodate height changes of up to 7/16" but is better suited for height transitions of 3/8" or 5/16". However, it has a nice clear finish on solid oak.

Pros
  • Door Hardware & Locks
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

The tree didn't fit and stayed flat

I screwed the rail in well but the wood didn't fit in the rail. I managed to get it on track but it never clicked (or held) as expected. The wood was bent slightly so one end wouldn't stay on the rail, so I picked it up and took it apart. Can't return as I used materials, cut a piece and painted the wood. A complete waste of money, time and effort. Luckily I found something similar that did the job.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Some mistakes
