I ordered again because otherwise I liked the bag

This is the second time I have bought this product. The baskets broke the first time and I thought it was an accident. So I ordered again because I otherwise liked the bags. However, after only 6 weeks, the saddlebags broke in the same place - the seam where the bag was folded onto the parcel shelf. Also, it came with two different bikes and racks. I don't carry heavy things, just clothes, a lunch bag and a bike lock. I was expecting this to last at least until the summer - 6 weeks means thereโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Reflective strip and mesh on the back
Cons
  • Not bad

Don't buy without a cage

I've had one before but didn't have the cage to hold it like I do now. The old one started ripping and tearing at the seam and I had to support it with zip ties! After two years they didn't help either! I carry groceries in mine but the cage is smaller than the basket so I can fit less groceries in it. But the basket should last longer and not break this time with the cage as a support. I like light straps instead of zippers! Though not waterproof - I always carry a bin bag! In the rain! Loveโ€ฆ

Great value for the price!

I had to trim 1/4" of the long edge of each plastic insert but was fine after that. Heavier top and side storage, an aluminum carrier with side rails perfect for adding panniers. Then I added my $9 Geartronic Cycling Bike trunk bag above and you're done (the Geartronic trunk bag comes with small panniers that slide out of the side pockets, but I cut them out because they aren't sewn securely and that space is more valuable to me than empty zipped pockets.) I can quickly remove the saddlebagsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Plastic Wall Reinforcement
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great for carrying groceries

I wanted some baskets that would be handy for carrying groceries. I had already ordered a $100 pair from a bike shop to use for commuting. But it had too many pockets for me to carry groceries. I initially chose the M-Wave basket because it was cheaper than other basket-style shopping carts and I didn't want to spend a lot on another set of bags. I think I'll be canceling other bags now - this will work better for commuting as well. When I last (and first) went shopping with these bags, theโ€ฆ

Good value for money but it has limitations.

Advantages:1. This is a big bucket that you can put a lot of things in while cycling. I used it to replace my handlebar bag, trunk bag and saddle bag.2. It attaches firmly to an existing bike rack such as the Topeak Explorer. I'm not afraid that he will fall.3. I've seen complaints about other bags that they interfere with peddling. It's a big bag, I'm a big guy but I never kick it. 4, It has plastic panels that reinforce the shape of the bag and provide some protection to the contents. Consโ€ฆ

Great value for money but you need to change them.

My family uses these bags every day for about a month to carry groceries, school bags, bags, lunch and everything else. We installed them on three bikes with two different types of racks. These bags are amazing value, but you have to be willing to be sneaky to install them. The included mounting system is silly for any rack I've seen, except for the spring-loaded clip on the top guy. But once mounted they are solid and look good. I cut off all the straps and used zip ties (50 for $1 at my local

Pros
  • 2 large main quick release compartments
Cons
  • Problems

Inexpensive and mostly works and looks good. I've been a practical cyclist since the 1970s. These days I walked 6-7 miles one way to work every day. These baskets are just perfect for a jacket, small backpack, sweater, books, laptop, U-lock and so on. Bought this one because I used to have the same one. I found it in a landfill a few years ago. He was hit from above and partially dismembered, punctured in his tires, and bullied from carrying heavy sharp objects. A thread and needle worth lessโ€ฆ

Modder Bag - Bike Racks and Bags

This bag will be the second bag I have bought, the first bag was a gift but if I bought it myself I would seriously consider buying it for several reasons to be returned for example the staples didn't hold and the material was cheap. The new ones I have now seem to have fixed these shortcomings, they are much better finished and the clamps really work. I only choose black/green as the color, but it's safe to assume they're all made the same, except for the older grey/black version, which I'dโ€ฆ
