GREAT FOR THE BIKE!

I like it very much. Threw them at my SE Fast Ripper. I really enjoy riding on the rear wheel and the modulation you get from 4 calipers is unreal. I had a Shimano XT with the typical on/off feel. hated her.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • expandable

Amazing Brakes: Brake Parts

XT Brake Replacement Required. The length of the front and rear hoses are the same. Easy to set up, easy to set up. I like the feel and control of them. Tons of accessories are available to change the feel and look.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Like a Brembo master cylinder on a bike

The Magura MT5s are so well engineered and offer great feel and modulation when braking late into corners or downhill. As a former motocross rider and road racer, braking helps me win or lose races. So it's great to feel that level of "Brembo" on the bike.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Excellent performance, reliable price, difficult to bleed

Bleeding is more difficult than necessary compared to Shimano brakes. Need a bleed screw. Tip: Completely loosen the reach adjuster when bleeding the brakes. When the reach adjustment applies pressure to the master cylinder, fluid from the outlet cannot be forced through the system. Performance and feel are excellent.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

poor quality/design. False advertising

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! COMPLETE DIRT! I'm not the type to write reviews or return food, but having found this out I'll spare you the details of my heartburn and let the picture speak for itself. A small accident and the lever hit the bar, I found it strange that my stock surron has lasted 2 years, many accidents. Must have bled it, system was never repressurized because of the PLASTIC SCREW, WTF!

Inexpensive upgrade that's worth its weight in gold

I bought these brakes to replace the OEM single caliper Shimano brakes that came on my 2019 Intense Tracer. Nearly perfect. Incredible stopping power compared to the original. They look great and the price was very affordable. I went with a 203 front rotor and paired it with a Magura mount and rotors. If the shop tuned it up I would only hear good things about these brakes. I would buy them again knowing how they are performing now.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

I can stop now! good for parts and components

Awesome great brakes, shamelessly stock Shimanos on my Tracer 275! Not only great stopping power for a Clyde like me, but amazing modulation as well. The feel is so good that on many descents I can literally just use the front brake without having to worry about the endoo. Haven't ridden in the bike park yet but expect them to handle the heat MUCH better than the Shimanos who always had braking issues over long distances. Be sure to order a bleed kit, when you get them they use a different kit…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never
