100% WITHOUT wrinkles! Love it!

Love it! Not a single line from folding! super tight! Super durable! Like the plastic wheels on the tool, not metal so it won't easily cut the screen when installing a new one! Will definitely buy, I hope this brand has a screen! It looks way better than the old one as it's dusty, literally sees through it, looks amazing and makes the whole door brighter!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A few little things

Seems scary but it's really easy with this kit!

Works great! I bought a $10 kit which was only enough to replace a screen door. I run a kindergarten and the kid literally ran through the screen. Replacing the whole door would cost me $65 and I'm poor so I decided to give it a try. ***Check out SeeJaneDrill's screen replacement YouTube video - this woman AMAZINGly makes things dumber without making you feel like an idiot! I'm a tiny woman with no interest in DIY or repairs but my poverty/cheapness got the better of me and I made my choice…

Works fine, just watch what you're doing.

I was able to install it easily although the instructions were unhelpful and even contradictory on some points. You can probably find a YouTube video on how to install a door screen. It was nice and tight when installed, but I could still see the fold lines on the screen if I looked down the side of the screen. Perhaps you can press them out with a warm iron first and cover the screen with a piece of cloth. The tool is ok, another reviewer managed to break the screen with it but he/she must…

Serves its purpose but materials are not the best

Received this product quickly via Prime. Removing the old patio door screen was very easy. The instructions are clear enough, but there are YouTube videos to watch if your confidence in the task is low. My biggest recommendation is not to use the tool they provide. It's made out of cheap plastic and the wheels have jagged edges. It wasn't until I was almost done with the screen that I realized the jagged edges of the wheel had cut into the screen and I needed to fix the screen. So much for a…

Decent stuff - hardware

I bought this to replace the screen on our camper door. There are many to make an entire door or a few panels. Additional rubber holding material to get the job done. The roller is weak, but it works, so there are no problems with it either. Take your time and have someone help you hold the screen horizontally while you roll up the rubber seal to avoid wrinkles. The only complaint is that there was a small gap in the screen section, 1/2" long and 1/8" wide, where a couple of screen threads came

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor issues

Mesh and splines are fine, roller tool is missing

Bought this to replace a torn window screen after seeing how easy it was. This kit is great value for the screen material and splines you get. I just needed to make a small window screen so I have plenty left over for another project and then a little for future needs. The screen is of good quality and goes perfectly with the default black screen that all our other windows have. Spline from this kit for this project. That being said, it honestly feels better than the spline in our existing…

Great value for money

Great repeat screening kit! I bought this for my first rescreening project and to my relief it turned out to be a much easier task than I thought it would be. The roller, on the other hand, is plastic, but did its job flawlessly (the rollers are concave and convex, as expected). I would advise you to pay close attention to the slit size as the slit that came with this kit was too thick for my window. I actually ended up using an old spline which worked really well, but if yours isn't in good…

Ease of installation. Time will tell if it holds up.

A few years ago we had a stray (and attention-hungry) cat who broke our patio umbrella. After much hesitation, I decided it was time to fix it. Looking through videos on YouTube I found all sorts of descriptions of how to do this. None of them are too difficult, so I decided to give this product a try. Installing the screen was very easy, just remove the handle (keep it), the old screen and the slots (throw them away, the new screen and slots are included). . Center the screen over the door and
