I like the material, it seems quite durable. The only thing I didn't like was that the holes weren't perfectly aligned, but I was still able to install my speakers in them. I will update again once I install it on my wife's 2017 GMC Sierra Crew Cab.

These 6x9 speaker pads are a perfect match for my Silverado. I recommend that you put foam tape on the side that touches the door firewall and on the speaker itself as the speaker touches the door panel and will vibrate and make noise. So the foam will prevent it.

They ended up working great. They fit and there is no rattling noise. I ended up using some self tapping screws to attach the speaker to it. The holes weren't exactly aligned. So I drilled my little ones. I assume each speaker has different settings. But I am happy. Good price!

The price was reasonable because it was easier to install rear speakers on a 2014 Silverado. But the overall quality was poor. Metra does great things but they really failed on this project. The bracket could be better to prevent "loosening" and the mounting holes for the speakers could definitely be done differently so you don't have to use a long screw to mount the speaker to the door instead of the adapter itself to attach The adapter uses the factory attachment point. I used them in a 2016 Chevy Colorado. They fit perfectly in terms of outside diameter and shape and did exactly what they were supposed to do. For my Infinity 6x9 loudspeakers I had to reduce the inner diameter a bit, which probably depends on the loudspeakers. This was easy to do with a utility knife and didn't take much.

For 2018 Silverado, they fit pretty well, not as tight as factory speakers. However, they do have screw holes on the bottom for a nice fit. I used some screws and double sided tape. They greatly improved the bass response of the 6x9 component by "sealing" the door compartment, making it almost a sort of box shape. I want them to come with the equipment. The original speakers have a much stronger enclosure. They also have a metal bushing in the mounting screw hole to allow more torque on the screw. Additionally, there is a clip along the mounting surface for easy mounting and isolation. Since my old speakers would gather dust on a shelf in the garage, I used them to install new speakers.
