Sent very wet, it is not printed as received.

Product arrives very damp, does not print as received, needs drying before trying to print. I suggest buying another brand of filament or letting that brand dry for at least three days before attempting to print with it. It will pulverize in the extruder and break down due to the amount of moisture absorbed. I dried it and eventually it was usable but it needs to be kept in a very good container with a desiccant for reuse. I came very close to returning this item for a refund other than the…

Pros
  • Diameter Tolerance: 2.85mm: 2.85 +/- 0.1mm
Cons
  • Doubtful

Not bad for additive manufacturing products

I prefer this wood filament to others. After reading the reviews I didn't know what to expect from it. I use a Lulzbot taz 6 and haven't had any issues other than fibrous prints which I suspect may need tweaking to my retract and movement speed settings which I have yet to perfect. Overall, the layers are smooth and hold up pretty well. With this material you definitely have to plan for some grinding. Haven't tried coloring it yet but plan to try my next unsupported prints to see how well it…

Pros
  • Recommended print temperature range 185°C to 230°C (365°F-464°F)
Cons
  • Requires socket

Medium quality wood filled PLA

I have tried about 3 brands of wood filled PLA. I have found that I love this brand and will use and continue to order for a few projects. Pros: Prints fairly well, I rarely experience PLA creep or sticking. It's pretty condescending. This is wood fill and can be stained. It's a neutral color that pretty much needs some sort of coloring or finishing treatment. Cons: It's a bit stickier than other wood fillers I've used. It behaves more like PLA than others, but expands slightly when printed…
