Description of 🔈 Dark Walnut Micca OoO Bookshelf Speakers - Pair with 3-Inch Woofers and Silk Tweeter

The compact Micca OoO speaker sounds much larger than it looks, giving listeners a fully immersive experience with its dynamic and extended sound signature. Its slim shape can be used horizontally as a center channel speaker, vertically as bookshelf speakers, or use with optional wall mounting brackets as surround sound speakers. Each OoO speaker holds two 3-inch square frame woofers in a ported enclosure, achieving usable bass extension down to 60Hz. The tweeter is based on Micca’s popular 0.75-inch silk dome design, using a high efficiency neodymium magnet and small diameter bezel for tight driver spacing. A 6dB/Octave low-pass circuit is used on the woofers while a 12dB/Octave high-pass circuit with level matching is used on the tweeter.

Good things come in small doses!

Great speakers for the price. Not too big and not too small, they are great for a small room or home theater. Easy mounting on wall or ceiling. I have 3 pairs, left and right front channels, left and right surround channels and left and right high channels for Dolby Atmos and they sound great! They probably won't win any awards and I really wish Micca had made speakers with larger drivers. But if you're looking for budget speakers for a small space, you can't go wrong with these. My room is…

Okay but I liked the MB42X better

I was hoping to use these as a lightweight, wall mounted equivalent to my MB42Xs (technically old MB42s with a crossover kit added). They just didn't have the same magic in my opinion. They were decent but didn't have the same clarity and image as the MB42X. Other Cons: - The fake wood effect film looks really bad in real life, like a cheap shelf liner. As far as cheap speaker finishes go, I prefer the MB42 series textured black vinyl. Square speakers don't look good without a grille. loosens…

Very important! suitable for home audio

I've been listening to these speakers for about two weeks. They are amazing. I used them on a very good 150w AB amp and the sound was great. Of course, you'll never get that much depth out of a speaker this small, but paired with a subwoofer, they're stunning. I was happy to point out to guests that the speakers we were listening to were a small pair - I also have big infinity towers right next to those speakers and everyone thought I was playing big speakers, again that wouldn't be possible…

Do not doubt! Best in Home Audio

I have had many audio devices in my life and this is one of the most enjoyable purchases of my life. I use them as monitors when digitizing my vinyl and as computer speakers when listening to music on YouTube. I bought these to replace a fine pair of (relatively) high-end Paradigm bookshelf speakers that started rattling on one of the cones when I clipped them. It's also paired with an 8-inch Acoustic Research subwoofer and a Harmon/Kardon receiver that puts out a really clean 75 watts. Trust…

Extremely good sound for its size

These little speakers appear smaller than their larger MB42x cousins. They are definitely thinner and much more comfortable for desktop use. Sonically they have a nice smooth top end and reasonable bass for their size. The mids feel recessed, low, understated, etc. and definitely need a small subwoofer to deliver full sound, but paired with a small 6.5" or 8" sub it sounds a lot better than either. Speaker in a Box Computer Setup . They would also make pretty cute and tiny surround speakers or…

Absolutely divine, worth a lot more

To be honest I don't do proper reviews very often anymore, but these speakers are a BIG exception. I love them and recommend them with all my heart. And here's why: these things create an incredible soundstage when used as desktop speakers. They are fairly neutral maybe a little warmer but amazing for pure amazing sound with a great soundstage. To be honest, the bass from the 3-inch speakers is very impressive. It audibly expands to 40 Hz without distortion at low to medium volume. Haven't…

Compact power supply well suited for bookshelf speakers

I bought these for desktop speakers and used a Lepai ta2020 amplifier (10Wrms/ch). I played bass professionally and did a lot of mixing and recording. There isn't much information about them so I want to be thorough. You sound decent. They have an amazing amount of bass if you aim them correctly. Without compensation, they are meaningless, so to speak. The sound is poorly balanced. Too many high frequencies. I have cheaper speakers that produce clearer and more spacious high frequencies (Sony…

The best $100 you will ever spend on speakers!

First of all. IMPRESSIVE! I've been listening to them for a few days now. Unlike the Mb series, they don't seem to need such a long hack. They sounded great right out of the box. I called my wife in the man cave last night to have a listen, she isn't tech savvy but she has great hearing. She was amazed at this, especially when I told her the sub was off. I had to prove to her that there was no subwoofer. The bass is so good and unheard of for a 3 inch speaker (see what I put there?). They play…

Hi-Fi sound in a compact and affordable package!

I had a unique situation: I needed high quality audio, but I had inches of room on the sides of the TV, no wall speakers and no usable floor space. . My bedroom is tiny and long so it's a wonder I have room at all for my 48 inch TV, stand and other miscellaneous equipment. Pricing and Miscellaneous Features I didn't want to save money and buy PC/Desktop speakers - they're set up for those who wouldn't be listening more than a few feet away and wouldn't fill my room with sound. Sacrifice sound…
