Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

I bought it to create a single wifi network in the apartment. Of the two pieces, one was defective, the link on a certain port periodically fell off. I exchanged it for a similar one - now everything is fine. Once I "went crazy" - the CPU load approached 100% (According to SSL, Management profiles), the reboot helped, the problem did not recur. Winbox (configuration software) loads my laptop's Core i5 by 30%, draining the battery even when not connected to the device. The problem is on…

Pros
  • RouterOS and its features. Despite the absence of external antennas - a strong emitter of the radio signal.
Cons
  • Marriage comes up. Sometimes it's buggy.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

I bought it to set up a gateway with remote cameras. Everything is clear here. But you can't set it up without a specialist. However, there are consultants in every major city (look on the MikroTek website). I contacted him, he set everything up. For money, of course :)

Has pros: The quality of performance of both hardware and firmware, or rather, it’s not just firmware, but its own OS. Settings - darkness. You can unfold whatever you want. Very high work stability. "Set and forget" Regular firmware ates. With its cons: With normal "home" use, there will be no problems with setting up, everything is done through QuickSet, everything else requires physical assault. For IPtv, for example, you need to configure support for the IGMP protocol separately and wr

Enterprise Router for SOHO Don't let the price fool you.

MikroTik, the maker of amazing enterprise-class routers, has finally created a SOHO consumer router at a price unmatched by anything else on the market today. MikroTik routers aren't the easiest to set up (advanced features) if you're unfamiliar with their language. But if you want 100% control over your network, this is for you. I use it for QoS (prioritizing devices over others) and many other advanced features. The WiFi output power is much higher than other consumer routers. Another plus is

Great general purpose WiFi router.

Great wifi router. Have two to extend coverage (works better than trying to blast the wifi signal and you have ethernet ports on the other side). A few tips: On the first device, use "ap bridge" and then "wds" WiFi mode. slave" on the second device. "WDS Slave" has the advantage of tracking the master device in case the radio channel changes. For wds mode use "Dynamic Mesh" and choose the local one Network bridge (Bridge1 by default) Configure both For stability and security use the same WiFi…

Works well for the price

I bought this device for two main reasons: the price and the many features this router has. When I bought this device I could get it for $20, so my rating is based on that price. I would like to say that this is my first MikroTik router and I'm not necessarily very knowledgeable when it comes to the wide range of features this router has. The device contains a 2x2 300Mbps wireless chip with 22dBm output power, 4 100Mbps Ethernet ports, a 5V USB power supply and a 650MHz processor. Below I will…

Great value feature packed WiFi router for business

This is a fantastic portable hotspot. I carry it with me to prove to customers that their WiFi hotspots are broken or to provide hotels with their own WiFi. With other routerboard products, you use Winbox to login and control the device. Lots of features and customization options. Works on Level 4 of the Mikrotik license, which is more than you need for a home router or access point. Constant updates. Always adding new features and fixing bugs. This is by far the best I've seen from router…

The best home router for your money. I love MicroTik!

You won't find anything better at this price. Don't let the size and price fool you, this is a powerful Wi-Fi router with top-notch features. If you don't need 5GHz and gigabit ethernet, this will perform as well or even better than any Cisco/Linksys, low-end Netgear, or similar Belkin offerings. RouterOS is unmatched by competitors in this price range. Many of these companies do not provide timely updates or stop releasing firmware updates altogether. Such cheap devices from MikroTik offer…

Great router for advanced users

This device is very small and flat. I hid it behind the shelves. Despite this location, the WiFi performance is ideal for my home. This is a small house. I bought this router first because it is OpenWRT compatible, but the default admin interface is very complete. You can even connect to the device via SSH and manage all settings from the command line. The CLI is a customizable Linux shell that makes it easy to navigate commands and get help. I liked it so much that I completely disabled the…

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE A TECHNICIAN

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE A TECHNICIAN. Stay away if you're looking for a plug and play router. I've had another one for a while. This router is just great. I went with this particular model simply because my bandwidth is limited to 100Mbps anyway, so I didn't care. If you have a faster uplink, consider other models. The MikroTik hardware is amazing. Even more software. This is completely advanced networking gear - it has a range of features you can even dream of getting anywhere else for…

Works fine, tedious to set up

This product definitely works the way I wanted it to. My problem was that I have a desktop computer that doesn't work well with wireless USB dongles. I've tried different USB Wi-Fi dongles, changed the computer's power settings, etc., but I still suffered from connection issues and initialization errors. I use this router to connect my desktop to my wifi network with an ethernet cable, so my desktop thinks it's on a wired network for internet purposes. Everything has been working fine for a few
