I think it's a great investment.

I work a lot in my garage and it was worth every penny! It's bigger than you think so you can inject large amounts of liquid every time. What impressed me the most was the fact that I could use it while servicing my truck's differential. Yes, you guessed it. Gear oil 80-90 works perfectly. It also comes with a breakdown sheet so you can order a seal on the piston and a replacement nozzle. I know it's expensive but for those of you who are self employed or maybe have a small shop I think it's a…

I wish I had taken one like this a few years ago.

Works as advertised, huge syringe that makes pumping auto (and other) fluids easy. I used it to service my HD truck's rear differential and was happy with the purchase. Even with the thicker gear oil, it handled reasonably well. Much easier and more convenient to use than pneumatic or larger liquid aspirators. Cleaning is easy as you can disassemble it completely. You can easily change the hose/pipe segment as the fitting is pluggable. I wish I had taken one like this a few years ago. I think…

Useful calibrated liquid siphon

I used a pump to drain the brake fluid and flush the freezer defrost tube. ATTENTION! If you remove the piston for cleaning, be very careful when reinserting it as it is very easy to detach part of the lower sealing lip and pinch it between the piston and the tube. If you don't find the problem quickly enough, the seal can become permanently deformed and fail. Here are some details you won't find in the description: Calibration marks: quarts every 0.01 quarts from 0.04 to 3 and cubic…

WORKS HOW IT WORKS, NO LEAKS

Bought an oil change pump for a 50 year old Ford differential, probably still runs factory oil. No drain plugs, 60 degree weather, no preheating from a hot exhaust pipe in close proximity. It has been found that the best way is to pull the piston out 1/4 inch at a time, let the thick oil suck in and pull it out again. Have maybe 75 percent. Fill in new oil with the squeegee, plan on driving about 50 miles and change again. The removal of the axle shafts, cardan shaft, springs and differential…

Expensive but worth it.

I used it to change the fluid on a 75w-140 diff. I was skeptical when other reviews said the hose leaked when the cylinder was full; however, that was not the case for me. Maximum drip. If you're a man, you should already know what to shake before moving on to the next step. I can't imagine using a push to pump after using this product. I don't think it took more than five full draws to remove 1 liter (I didn't count but I know I didn't get stuck under my car pumping 1 liter of gear oil for…

Favorite syringe pump so far!

I've bought quite a few of these tools, from syringe pumps like this one to in-line pumps and screw-on pumps, and so far this has been my favorite. This happens for several reasons, but primarily because the device clamps and locks the hose. This is extremely useful when dealing with more viscous liquids such as gear oil. All the other tools I've used don't have this feature and if you use too much force (which can be tricky at first with some tools) the hose will pop out due to the pressure…

Big! Except. Best in Garage & Shop

I couldn't decide how to rate this unit. This is probably the best vacuum gun I've used as an auto mechanic. I've had many and all had problems. You either blew off the end of the hose while you were filling, or poured the fluid backwards for easy draining into your armpit, or they just hooked up after you sprayed the brake fluid to rinse it out before changing fluid . This device does neither of those things. Although all the usual problems with suction guns from the last 80 years have been…

I'm glad I chose this one.

I bought this device after reading reviews of other aspirators on Revain and I'm glad I did. (Be sure to read this review to the end as it contains usage information that some may not know.) This is a very heavy plastic. In fact, it's stronger and better crafted than any metal I've seen. The piston skirt is made of thick aluminum or steel and has two piston seals. There are no pressure losses at all. The rear cover with piston is very easy to remove and seals perfectly when installed. One of…
