This is the fourth generation Wave Inspire that I have purchased and I have purchased the 9D (wide). I thought it was a safe purchase as the store bought shoes off the table due to the pandemic. I'm a fan of the Wave Inspire line. They have always been the best fit and comfort for me as a hyperpronator. This year's new model has changed a lot compared to previous versions. I find the outsole is still comfortable (for me) but the design of the upper has changed a lot and I don't really like it. I bought these to replace my pair of Wave Inspire 14s as they are no longer for sale. I was nervous about getting them because the previous pair had done wonders for my right arch, knee and hip. When I first tried them on I found they fit a little differently. The toe box is not as wide and the shoe is narrower overall.
