Very convenient! - Athletic

The first thing I love about these shoes is the color. I feel so bad that I only have the least flashy sneakers. Second, how incredibly comfortable they are. I also inherit and wear an insole. It's perfect and these shoes immediately proved more comfortable than my worn pair. Another maybe silly thing is that the tongue is longer than my old pair. I like this feature because it prevents the laces from tickling the front of the ankle. I wear size 8-8.5 but I always wear sneakers from 9.5. They…

Pros
  • This popular stability trainer is a workhorse. From fast training to marathons
Cons
  • Something different

Frustrated longtime Wave Inspire user

This is the fourth generation Wave Inspire that I have purchased and I have purchased the 9D (wide). I thought it was a safe purchase as the store bought shoes off the table due to the pandemic. The other three pairs used to be normal width as my feet are only slightly wider. Despite buying in a wide range and checking the label, these are the slimmest pair I own. With a standard width, they are a few mm narrower. The laces also ended up in a weird spot on the top of my foot and my feet go to…

These are no ordinary high quality Mizuno shoes

I have been buying Mizuno shoes for several years now. I love her. Well I like all of them except for this particular model/pair. From the moment I put them on I felt like they are not as comfortable as other pairs I have purchased. They don't offer that much cushioning and every time I wear them the tongue moves out of the shoe. I've never had Mizuno shoes like this before. I should have returned them when I first noticed the lower quality but thought maybe they needed breaking in, getting…

DISAPPOINTED best in Women

I'm so disappointed with this new version! VERY cheaply made. You checked all the materials! Including shoelaces! INDEED? For the price, could you give me some decent laces? New colors make me vomit. It seems to be a trend with all of their new styles. It's time for a reevaluation to see what other shoe brand is helping with my foot problems. Update: This new line of shoes is giving me sciatic nerve pain now! I have bought several pairs of the previous version over the past year as they fit my…

Too small. the best in shoes

I'm a fan of the Wave Inspire line. They have always been the best fit and comfort for me as a hyperpronator. This year's new model has changed a lot compared to previous versions. I find the outsole is still comfortable (for me) but the design of the upper has changed a lot and I don't really like it. Aesthetically, they don't look as good as they used to, and the materials used don't seem as durable. They look and feel very thin. They may be great for breathability, but it's hard to say if…

Pros
  • Smoothride Supportive Wave brings the perfect balance of softness and lightness to every step
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The newer model has pros and cons

I bought these to replace my pair of Wave Inspire 14s as they are no longer for sale. I was nervous about getting them because the previous pair had done wonders for my right arch, knee and hip. When I first tried them on I found they fit a little differently. The toe box is not as wide and the shoe is narrower overall. For this reason, if the previous pair was "just right" or almost too small, I would recommend sizing up. My previous pair was 7.5 and they were a bit big but this new 7.5 pair…

4 black toenails later and a broken shoelace after 250 miles.

Update: I drove about 125 miles in Cayenne and the laces on my left boot snapped. Again! I've never had an issue with laces on a Mizuno or any other shoe (for that matter) so having two failures of the same shoe really got me thinking about the quality of the shoe in general. Again, I've decided to switch to Asics in the future but thought I'd mention this shortcoming. ****Original Review: I have been a loyal user of the Mizuno Wave Inspire since it was first recommended to me many, many years…
