ABS is one of the most commonly used filament types in 3D printing. It has a high tensile strength and good overall toughness. It has a low density and is softer than PLA, which means lower weight and lower cost when printing large models. This 1 kg spool features a thickness of 1.75mm ±0.10mm, with a roundness variation of only 0.05mm. It has a nominal processing temperature of 230°C (446°F). Thickness and roundness factors are laser measured at the factory to ensure accuracy over the entire length of the filament.

I love this yarn and it's less than $9/kg.

I love this yarn and it's less than $9/kg. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered 2 more. I use this in both my Robo and Prusa. I printed this ABS at 142°C and 82°C using a glue stick on a glass plate and tape over an aluminum plate. Both methods work on both printers. I have other Deltas too, but I didn't try them on there, mainly because I didn't want to change spools. I have printed many parts for my 3D printers and so far this ABS plastic is very strong and works great for me. You…

Poor spool design, color is lighter than expected

ABS is a difficult material to print on. It requires a much higher temperature than PLA and is less prone to warping. It has good durability and works well in warm environments where PLA may not work. So I have no complaints about the properties of PLA. The actual color of the thread is much lighter than I expected. Light purple, I wouldn't even call it ultraviolet. I know that pictures on the web do not exactly match the actual item, but the pictures show a much darker color in my opinion…

Cheap and cheap.: 3D printing filament

This thread is cheap - and cheaply made. I printed a few rolls - both were very tangled - and kept jamming due to roll tangles so bad they wouldn't feed. After you used a third of the roll, the tangles were less, but then crumbly spots started. Each spool had spots so dry and crumbly that the filament broke trying to feed it. You can just crumble it a foot or two, it breaks into pieces with a light squeeze, it doesn't look like ordinary filament - and then the filament returns to its normal…
