Too light for a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Hemi.

Installed on Ram 1500 Hemi Quad Cab. Too light a shock for this truck. Next time I will switch to a Magnam shock absorber for a tanker.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Something else

Bad shocks: shocks, struts and suspension

I bought Monroe Specter shocks for my 2005 Ram 1500. They were in my car for about 4 months. As a result, I had to remove and change brands. The shock absorbers were the correct part number for the truck, but I felt like I wasn't in control of the car. Never dealt with the issue, they felt like they were being used >

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

for 06 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4

Pulled in with no problems, didn't even have to jack up the truck. The truck runs perfectly with them. To be honest I changed them because I changed the front ones and the truck has 175,000 miles on it. I'm not sure if I notice a real difference, but in many ways it's a good thing. I rarely tow trailers etc. So I can't attest to any significant performance gains.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some bugs

Big improvement, good for spare parts

My 2007 Ram 1500 4x4 got pretty cool, especially on railroad tracks. I didn't want to make the ride more difficult than these trucks already do. Basically, I just wanted to restore the original driving performance. So I chose them for the back after a little research. NO MORE HOP! The ride is much safer. Ease of installation. And Revane had the best deal I could find.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

Fast shipping and easy install on Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. The old ones were roasted pretty well, so these ride a lot better. I've used them on my truck and tried the "Reflex" model on a Jeep. I actually like the Monroe "Reflex" model better and if I had to rebuild it I would spend a few bucks more and put a Reflex model on the truck.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Upgradeable
