🚗 Moog 81069 Coil Spring Set: Superior Performance and Durability for Enhanced Suspension Review

These springs are perfect for my 2003 Chevy Suburban. Raised the back too. The ride is much better and the Suburban drives better. I also added rear Monroe shocks to balance the load, which also raised the rear a bit. Thanks to the new setup, the truck is now much easier to pull and has less sag.

These are Z-71 replacement springs for Tahoe/Yukon 00-06. Combined with 2" spacers and lengthened Bilstein shocks, I got 3" of total travel at the rear over the stock (non-Z-71) Tahoe. Looks great. Needed scroll compressors to fit the spacers, FYI.

I used these to replace the factory springs on my suburban 02 with Nivomat shocks. I decided to upgrade the springs and use a regular good quality shock absorber. I am very happy with the update. Worked great. Installed it on the back of my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. It had easy running zw7 shock absorbers and they were worn out at 260,000 miles. The rear started to lean to the right and the ride was terrible, but I didn't want to pay an outrageous price for factory (Nivomat) shocks. Nice springs that I used on the back of my 2004 4WD Trailblazer LS back in the day to with 500 pounds to lift and no slack to have stereo in the trunk. I didn't measure because my rear end sags, but it's definitely a little taller than stock. Planning on getting a 2.5" front alignment kit and maybe Moog 81114 springs for the front if Amazon ships them to HI lol. I got them from a used site so I ordered them and they shipped them. The car was a 2005 Yukon with 95,000 miles and is fitted with the infamous Nivomat self-levelling shock absorbers. No air suspension with compressor. Perfect fit, easy to install and now my truck has great posture. I got rid of my 17 year old worn out springs and junk air shocks (which I replaced 3 years ago and they're out again). The bed of the truck jacked up a bit; I removed both shock absorbers and loosened the stabilizer bar connections. Jacked up the truck. Hand drawn feathers. This spring is the same as the spring used in the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon "Z71” packages. This gives you an extra 1 inch of lift relative to field measurements. As far as I know, this is the only Heavy Duty spring you can get without adding more suspension. Airbags are another option if you want to deal with them.
