Missing rubber boot

Bought because of Moog's reputation for durable parts but when the part arrived the rubber boot was not included. Fortunately, the old one was not destroyed during dismantling and was still functional.

Order a few add-ons and you'll likely get enough components to actually have a working ball joint.

I ordered two of these for my Corvette. The first installation had all the details. The second was missing a latch holding the rubber boot. on site. The holder is clearly visible in the picture and indicated in the instructions. Got a replacement today and it doesn't have a retainer either. Very disappointed with the quality control. Someone else complained about the lack of a rubber boot.

Missing parts are best for ball joints

Awaiting arrival of second batch of replacement parts . The first 4 boxes opened were ALL incomplete. Each box was missing the housing and locking rings, so I can't even assemble a complete assembly. Contacted Moog twice for an opinion. Contrary to their motto, Moog will not solve the problem. If you absolutely need Moog Top ball joints on your C4, cross your fingers and don't hold your breath. Don't be surprised when you open the box and there's no trunk.

5 boxes and none of them had seals

Had to send them back 2 or 3 times, I've lost track. This time in this box almost all parts were in clean new boxes. The washers were missing from all 5 boxes I received (which tells me MOOG forgot them, I called MOOG support, they confirmed the washers were there to prevent pitting in the aluminum arm). While researching how to put the boots on, I came across a comment on a Corvette forum advising people to simply order the ball joints, remove the boot, keep it, and return the ball joint for a
