Works on a 2007 Honda VTX 1300S

I bought this to adjust the air screw on the carburetor on my 2007 Honda VTX 1300S. It works well. It has a small locking mechanism that keeps it securely in the tool. Honda wanted $80 for a similar product. I bought this along with a flexible adjustment tool that this socket snaps into. This outlet costs less than $5, and the device it plugs into costs about $10. Give me a Honda tool like product for less than $15.

That's what you want in Honda motorcycle carburetors.

All D-style carbureted tools are not created equal. Those cheap Chinese carburetor tool kits you can get are great for grass eaters and chainsaws, but THIS part is what you need for Honda (and possibly other brands) motorcycle carburetors. This is perfect for my 1999 CBR 900RR. A little cheap tool tricked me into thinking the guide screws were stuck and started taking them off, but that's because it's not the exact size needed for the job. This bit IS. Much luck!

Will not fit 2006 Polaris Ranger 700 XP

This item does fit many throttle bodies but does not fit the 2006 Polaris Ranger so this item didn't work for me as I noticed a hole was too big for my throttle body adjuster screw and like the other reviews here the whole thing was about a little over an eighth deep so the adjuster screw doesn't grip very well. You have to push hard to turn the screw. might work fine for other uses just not for me, not worth sending back for seven bucks, just thrown away, maybe there's another one with a…
