I bought two of these and sent them back.

I bought two of these - returned - with the same battery. I get two different display values. Graphics on the front don't work that way (or don't work in my case). I've compared it to B&D and FOVAL and it doesn't charge fast or charge batteries (stops at 12V).

  • Great for outdoor activities

  • So far so good

My 3 year old battery exploded during this tender.

I had this tender on my 1959 Cadillac Coupe Deville. Everything was fine until this happened and I found battery acid in the engine compartment of my vintage car. The acid was also all over the earth and even managed to get into my car. I figured it was a coolant leak, so of course I took the cover off, unaware that battery acid had blown out my car's grille and inside cover. Guess what happens next? When I removed the car cover it hit the hood of my car and literally burned my paint. No, I…

Good little charger/helper for the money

I have six of these 0.75A Moto Power Junior chargers and they have all worked flawlessly so far (2 months) charging all size 12v batteries from large starter batteries. for motorcycle batteries. What I particularly like is that the output voltage in "maintenance mode" is between 13.5 and 13.6 volts, which is the ideal voltage to keep the battery in the best condition when fully charged. Once fully charged, it will automatically power up and maintain that voltage, so it goes into "trickle"…

User manual and packaging information included, good charger.

Love this little charger; I use it to keep my inverter generator battery charged. Otherwise the battery had to be replaced. I hardly use the generator, sometimes I turn it on, but that's far from the case, so I decided to get a constant charger. I was a little concerned with some reviewers saying their batteries were overcharging. This has happened to me before with rechargeable batteries for my tools. The only thing I can recommend is to use a timer along with an outlet and plug in anything…

Poor LED design

Here is an email I sent to MotoPower Customer Service regarding the LED but never got a reply. Subtract one star for poor ad UI design and one star for poor customer support. I also see in other reviews that people complain that the light is always green. One person even complained that he charged an empty battery for 3 days (with glowing green) and the charge was not delivered. He found that his charger had the red clip incorrectly stamped negative and the black clip positive. Here is my…

Compact Budget CAR or other 12V charger/maintainer

Use this to charge and service an H5 battery pack installed in a vintage Toyota with a secondary alarm system. The charger has a red light for charging and a solid green light (flashing green for "mostly charged") for a full charge float mode. The seller sent me a second one because the first never got past green flashing mode. It got very hot, sometimes it didn't even switch mode from flashing red to green even though the battery voltage was over 13.2V. I have another branded charger in the…

Live up to expectations, maybe do a little DIY modding and it's a great buy

Here's my story: After driving my car for a few months during the COVID-19 quarantine, my 2018 , hardly drove once a week Honda Accord would not start. I tried starting with my wife's 2002 Honda Civic - it still doesn't work. Impressive! I have a decent quality multimeter that I have - less than 8 volts from a 12v battery. Double cheers! I checked the electrolyte - wow, one of the six cans had plates exposed. Well that explains the very low volts pretty well. Filled up to the limit, then tried…
