No, not suitable for Ford Ranger

working speed like autozone and not suitable. still get the code for the gas cap. The lid will pass by itself, but will still get the code and fail the test

Pros
  • Don't waste your time

Fits 1997 Ford Explorer xlt v8 5.0 RWD. 100% accurate

Fits a 1997 Ford Explorer xlt v8 5.0 rear wheel drive very well. someone else was teasing me for going through it to finally get the right cap!

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

You need a gas cap. in the caps

The fact that this gas cap fits my 2002 S-Style Jaguar was a welcome relief since it cost less than $13. As anyone who owns or has owned a Jaguar can tell you, it's unusual to find any replacement for no more expensive than other makes. It does the job.

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • there are bugs

No more check engine light

Bought to replace a broken gas cap on a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The check engine light came on regularly, caused by the environmental protection function of the truck. This hat fits nice and tight and the light hasn't come on since. The only downside is that it can't be attached to the truck, so you'll have to remember to put it somewhere so you don't forget to put it back on (a minor problem for most).

Pros
  • Not just useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Too stupid

Purchased to replace a broken gas cap on a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The check engine light came on regularly, caused by the environmental protection function of the truck. The only downside is that it can't be attached to the truck, so you'll have to remember to put it somewhere so you don't forget to put it back on (a minor problem for most).
