Not real motorcycle filters. Made in China does not fit

This is a SCAM! Don't buy if you want genuine motorcycle filters. They don't fit properly in 6.0. There was a "Made in Chiang" sticker on the top of my motorcycle box. Even China can't write properly. The filters aren't even wrapped in plastic like real car filters, they just sit in the box. Even the pads don't fit.

Motocraft all the way!

These fuel filters fit my 2004 F350 diesel engine. You can never go wrong with original filters. I wouldn't use anything else. If you're not sure when they were replaced, just swap them out. It's cheap insurance for the money. Filters are one of those things that it's hard to see the benefits of unless you have a problem. However, if you have ever looked into PSD 6.0, you know that they can be prone to injector issues. Always make sure your oil and fuel filters are changed at the correct…

This filter does not fit the engine it is supposed to fit!

Only for work do I regularly use the same place for an oil change. I buy a Ford oil filter and the same oil I've used since the truck was new and I change the oil every 5,000 milkings. Well I bought from this seller and when I tried to install it on a truck it didn't go in the canister. The technician tried, I tried, the manager tried. Quickly rebuilt with another filter (not the type I'd rather use) and now here I am with this "custom sized" filter and another in my office that probably…

Use Motorcraft filters in your 6.0

If you have 6.0 you MUST use Motorcraft filters in your truck! Do a YouTube search and you'll see why, from the guys who make these trucks for a living. I tried to find the exact answer on the internet about the size of the slot for the top and bottom filter caps as I knew I wasn't the right size. . I have 24mm at the top and 36mm at the bottom. You can also buy special sockets for this job. Both are easy to replace but the bottom can is a little dirty. I put the pan down and did my best to…

Poor quality and fit issues

I must have been one of the few who got a Chinese fake. The fuel filter under the hood was too big for the cover and I had to tighten it a bit to get it in. The O-ring didn't fit either. Once installed and tightened to spec, the o-ring flew out of the way. I gave him reason to doubt, reinstalled with no leaks, and drove to work. As I left work (at midnight, an hour from home) I smelled diesel fuel and stopped to check and to my surprise I noticed diesel fuel splattering all over the engine bay.

The only filters you can use on your 6.0

unless you buy the international version of them (the engine was made by International, VT365, but you can find out for yourself) do not use fakes or regular aftermarket brands! Most of them do NOT fit properly, many lack a water barrier. Your engine is a VERY expensive piece of equipment and saving a few dollars on filters will probably end up costing you several thousand. I change the fuel filters on every other oil change and oil (Shell Rotella T6) eats up oil every 5,000 HPOP in our…

Tips and Tricks Best Fuel Filters

Use a 35-36mm short socket for the bottom filter, a 6mm allen wrench for the water separator, and a 24mm or 1/2" weather actuator . Loosen the fuel tank cap to relieve any pressure Place an oil pan under the lower filter to catch water and fuel. Drain the water separator, tighten it first, then remove the frame filter (flat seat is best). Then turn it slightly clockwise to fix it. Slide a new o-ring onto the cap, then thread onto the filter and torque to 18.5 ft-lbs. Secondary (small filter)…

OEM and the right parts for your Ford truck! A simple DIY project.

This is a Motorcraft OEM part at a fraction of the dealer price! Don't give up Ford filter brands; just too many problems. Buy these originals for a little more than the fakes, but at half the retailer's price, and you get the best of both worlds. It's easy to change them. However, 19 nM is not the same as 19 yes. nM. The plastic cap on top of the motor housing says to be tightened to 19Nm, so I used my 1/2" torque wrench, turned it and tightened to 19Nm. Newton meters.) = x 10. So that's 14…
