Comes without hard drive built in but got them new for Sub 200, no complaints. The basic operations are simple. Plug it in, turn it on, insert the original drive, insert a blank drive and wait a few minutes. With the menu functions you can do much more than just copy. be beaten.

I bought this copier to replace our Xerox copier that had a controller problem. The new Spartan Duplicator is here and it looks stylish. I took it out of the box, plugged it in as a standalone device, and let it run. Everything seemed fine except that the third target disk is not available as either a target or a master disk. I tried different configurations and finally decided to read the user manual. but in vain! I'm currently trying to find Spartan Duplicators but they don't have a website…

Really like this duplicator. When I buy a product at a particularly cheap price, I always worry that it will be of poor quality or not work well. This product delivers. I put in the master, then the blanks, and the machine does the rest. It's easy to use and does what I want for a really good price. The only question that remains is: will this continue? So far, so good.

This unit works right out of the box. A simple setup guide is included. Now I'm taking the VHS tapes I made for commercial use and changing them to DVD. After making a master DVD, I can make 6 copies in less than 10 minutes. This machine is a real time saver. I've made over 50 copies in the past few days and not a single one has failed. I use DVD-R discs.
