1/2" +/- Mild steel shaft with a light zinc coating. Not round, not straight and too soft to be used as a pivot for more than a small child's toy. The ends seem hot to be cut, very out of round Made in Taiwan Very cheap and at a low price.

I wanted to hang a Grundtal but the pole from this system was not suitable for my needs. I used to have a tie rod and it seems to be more stable.
