Do not use as an axle

1/2" +/- Mild steel shaft with a light zinc coating. Not round, not straight and too soft to be used as a pivot for more than a small child's toy. The ends seem hot to be cut, very out of round Made in Taiwan Very cheap and at a low price.

Pros
  • Can be drilled, heated, shaped, etc.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Bargain Fully Threaded Rods and Bolts

We needed a steel rod to add wheels to the sign we bought. It worked great. The first package we received was empty, but that's not the fault of this store. It looks like the box was torn and probably fell out. When we received the replacement unit it worked exactly as we needed it to.

Pros
  • Made of Steel
Cons
  • Working Speed

One shaft was in good condition the other was deformed beyond use

The shafts served their purpose well but about 10 inches which is a second shaft I received , was unusable due to severe deformation that prevented the shaft from turning without vibrating my wife's paintings off the wall on the other side of the house.

Pros
  • Designed for axles of wagons, carts etc and other home made products
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I bought this pole and this one to hold.

I bought this rod and this Uxcell a16082300ux0026 LMF16UU 16mm internal diameter, round flange mounted on a linear ball bearing, SOCKET, .63 metal, rubber for retention. I wanted to hang a Grundtal but the pole from this system was not suitable for my needs. I used to have a tie rod and it seems to be more stable. Remember, if you're doing the same as me, the bore in the bearings is slightly larger than the stem. So you need significant overlap: don't buy it for applications wider than 37…

Pros
  • Steel
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability
