Nut missing - latches and screws

Good quality although I wish they had the nuts fully tightened when shipped. When I received the 4 clips I bought, one was missing.

Worked as expected.

What else can you say about a ladder? It takes years to rust if you live in a humid climate (which I do, but that's in an attic where the humidity is much lower than outside) so I don't know if I'll ever be able to update this review.

Wrong description - It's not stainless steel

The item description says stainless steel but it's not stainless steel. This is an electroplated finish which is different and not as weather resistant as stainless steel. Checking the N222-562 model number on National Hardware's website also confirms that it's zinc plated. There is another model number N422-579 in stainless steel.

Where is the missing nut?

This U-Bracket is as described except one bolt is missing. After reading some other reviews this seems to be a common practice with them. I could just go to the hardware store to buy them as now I still have to go to the hardware store to buy the missing screw! Where is the National Quality Control Service? It's really annoying.

Losing a nut during the coronavirus outbreak - I can't justify going to the hardware store.

The product itself serves the purpose for which it was designed. My problem is that one of the nuts is missing. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, I would just go to the store and buy it. But this is the peak of the Covid-19 outbreak and I can't justify going to the hardware store for a nut. Hence the overly critical 1 star rating.
