Poor quality on bike GPS devices

When I bought this, after a few uses, the device showed a temperature difference of 10 degrees. My replacement arrived and after a few uses there was a small area of the LCD burned into the screen.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Good display - difficult to use

Nice big display and some visually appealing features plus data. the meilan app actually does it, you have to use a data cable. Pretty annoying for the price.

It's not easy to set up at first.

Be sure to check your GMT time zone. This simplifies setup. Americans have their own time zone system, so setting the clock can be confusing. Easy to combine with the Wahoo speed sensor. Connects easily to the iPhone SE. A better US market guide might help. GPS not used yet. I'll give a more detailed review in a few months. I've only used one ride so far.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Semi-accurate GPS bike computer with limitations

First it exports the riding information to Strava, but only via the computer via USB, so it's a mixed package. At least it exports the data. Unfortunately, their support team reported that you cannot load routes from Strava. Setup wise I completed it fairly quickly using a Samsung s9 and successfully paired it with a bluetooth cadence sensor. In a week of about five 20 mile rides I only had to charge it once so I was very happy with it as there seems to be enough standby power for my use case…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Unfortunately, this device needs a lot of improvement

First of all, the description is very misleading. This clearly shows that it comes with cadence and heart rate sensors, but NOT further down the list, meaning you can connect to them, which means it might not be enabled. very blurry. The screen is nowhere near as nice and sharp as the listing shows. it's more "gray" than black and white. it makes it hard to read especially when its faint light vibrates/jumps from your steering wheel, not terrible but NOT as clear as shown in the photos in the…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Bicycle computer without jokes

Update after a long ride on October 14th. Komoot Navigation. Do not expect too much. This is not Google Maps navigation. Komoot guide does not show road closures and traffic status. Komoot's manual is also sometimes confusing. Battery life. I started my 100km ride with 90% battery left and after 110km in 5 hours it showed 70% left. ------------------ This is a great bike computer for those who don't need to download exercise records from this device. I use a Polar running watch to track my…
