These sockets may be adequate for everyday use but are poorly suited, making them unsuitable for high torque applications such as transmission bell housings and connecting rod bolts. I learned this expensive lesson after ruining 6 studs for $10 each. The bushing slipped off the bolt before the torque limit was reached and although they were not removed they will withstand torque to yield point and cannot be reused.

They are useless! The star scratched into the nest cavity does not begin at the edge of the nest, but a few millimeters below. The thing is, you can slide the bushing all the way onto the screw and chances are it won't get caught because there are no sidewalls of the bushing to grab the screw. They carved a cup into the inside of the rosettes! They tear off the tip of the screw head and need to buy another product to finish the job.

They fit really well on the fasteners you play with, it was interesting to see that the set has a quarter inch 3/8 and a 1/2 inch drive was can you surprise me when i got to the bigger ones and i needed my half inch but thats not a problem they did a great job for me i built a maya mercedes benz motor and it is very tiring, and dealing with aluminum heads and blocks is a must watch out, all went well. I love the socket set and would definitely recommend anyone to buy one.
