Works great with AT&T Plus unlimited data plan.

Works great! If you have an AT&T Plus unlimited plan, you can add it to that plan for $20/month and have unlimited internet at home. I connected it to a Linksys wireless router and it worked without changing any settings. The unlimited plan states that the speed can be reduced after 22 GB. I personally have never seen that. I live in the middle of nowhere so the towers I use are never overloaded. That's probably why my data has never slowed down to this point. I ordered this modem from Revainโ€ฆ

Nice and Unlocked - Networking Products

You can ignore the nonsensical "AT&T Network-Ready" claim. This is an unlocked device that works with other UMTS and LTE networks in the supported frequency bands. I put in a T-Mobile SIM card and connected without any help. The modem has a simple and elegant web interface; I think that's better than what you usually get in NETGEAR routers. (Sorry, HTTPS isn't supported.) Setup is very easy and only takes a few minutes if you know what you're trying to do. The device can operate in two modesโ€ฆ

YES SIR. This modem works securely on the VERIZON network.

I'm confused by the conflicting reviews on this page as to whether or not this modem will work on Verizon's network. I'm glad I ignored the reviews saying it didn't work on Verizon. I decided to try the modem myself and I can assure you that it can definitely work on Verizon's network. Here are the steps I took. 1) First, I wanted to confirm which 4G LTE band on Verizon's network I'm connecting to in my area. I recommend this step as I assume different areas connect to different Verizon bandsโ€ฆ

LB2120 man this thing is amazing oh wait. {disabled}.

*****Update 1-5-2018***** Got a replacement a few months ago, the device worked for about 2.5 months, after that it worked the same like and original. I wrote to the support many times, they didn't answer. The device is completely deactivated. I have a dual port version of the LB2120, setup was easy, I connected an ATT sim, connected everything, cable modem, wireless router and 2120 connected. Worked as expected, unplugged cable modem - not working. ATT - hooked on the feedback, back to theโ€ฆ

Works well with alternative media when doing your research

There are a lot of reviews here but wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. I used this with a relatively unknown provider, at least outside of Alaska, GCI Communications. I've done some diligence and made sure the device supports the channels/frequencies that GCI is using, so thought it might be worth a try. I haven't had any problems and so far I'm very happy with the device. Where I live my only internet access is the cellular network, so it took me a lot of work and money toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

We live in a rural area and being so far from the main road our local cable company almost doesn't serve ours 200 year old house. This meant our only internet connection was the phone company's DSL service, which was far from reliable and fast. I bought a Netgear 4G LTE modem as a test replacement for this expensive DSL service which can only do 11MB downstream and 1MB upstream at best and constantly requires restarting the DSL modem to get it working again. With 4G from T-Mobile. LTE I wasโ€ฆ
