An interesting device, in fact it is a digital infrared video camera with hidden IR lighting. I wouldn't really classify it as night vision as it doesn't amplify the ambient light. It offers slightly improved visibility at dusk and dawn without IR on, but in the dark or even on a moonlit snowy night it won't show anything without IR on.
