Description of Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 10p SUV 245/50 R19 105T winter

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10p The Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10p winter tires presented by the Finnish manufacturer for the 2021/2022 season embody unsurpassed dynamics, safety and comfort. The developers applied a number of innovative technologies, thanks to which it was possible to achieve a compromise between the noise of the studded tread and traction properties. The low level of acoustic noise is due to the special shape of the anti-skid spikes and the successful pattern of the working surface. This feature allows you to install Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10p winter tires on cars of any class, even on budget models without additional sound insulation. Double studded treadIn the working area there are more than 200 carbide studs, and in some sizes their number reaches 250 pieces. The tips are shaped like stars and have many pointed edges that cut into the ice cover. A unique feature of these tires is that the studs in the shoulder and center sections are rotated 180 degrees relative to each other. This arrangement allows for stable traction when driving in any direction: during acceleration on a straight road, and during maneuvering, and during emergency braking on slippery surfaces. SilentDrive Technology Rubber blocks and metal spikes are modeled to achieve effective noise reduction. The shoulder blocks are of variable size, which prevents sound resonances when driving on an asphalt road. Accordingly, the driver and passengers will feel more comfortable, without experiencing inconvenience and premature fatigue due to the constant hum coming from under the wheels of the car. Robust and stable constructionThe Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10p studded winter tires use a multi-layer seamless carcass, which gives them an increased margin of safety. The cord, made of seamless steel threads, protects tires from critical damage and bumps. This allows you to operate Hakka 10p car tires even on poor quality roads, where large potholes, stones and other irregularities often come across. Environmentally friendly As with previous Nokian tyres, the Hakkapeliitta 10p uses a low rolling resistance rubber compound. Special oils and silica particles reduce friction in the contact zone, but at the same time do not adversely affect the grip characteristics of tires. With such tires, the car burns less fuel and, accordingly, emits less toxic gases into the atmosphere.

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

Operation less than 1 year, or rather even a season. The previous Hakka 7 tires worked for 9 seasons and without any "SURPRISES"

Pros
  • Excellent road holding in winter conditions
Cons
  • Safety and quality, as well as the guarantee is 0. The tire just broke in one moment. At the same time, no one could not help but determine the place of the puncture or cut in the sidewall. In several tire shops, experienced craftsmen said that a tire breaks like this only with factory defects. But the Nokian warranty and technical support refused to replace it, citing that there was movement on the tire without pressure. And this despite the fact that, in principle, the car has a standard tire pressure monitoring system, and if there was a ride with low pressure, the indication would work. And in general, who ever drove with a flat tire knows what it feels like. It is impossible not to feel that the wheel has flattened! So I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you value your life and the lives of your loved ones, and also if you understand that in this case you are simply paying for air. A tire for almost 20,000 lives less than the average Chinese.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I recommend to buy, the best of Hakkapelit. I am supplementing the review on 02/27/2023, after driving almost another season, the 8 indices disappeared, the mileage is huge (~ 25k km over the winter), on the highway I began to overtake on the right at great speed even more often than on Hakka 8, very cool tires, given that now my wheel costs 20tr. , I'm worried that soon I will have to buy again. My wife’s car has a new Hakka 8 on a SUV, I sit down and move not so confidently, I want to sell…

Pros
  • Hello, I do not write reviews from the word at all, this is the first. Comparison of Hakki 8 and Hakki 10, according to my observations. Car Suzuki Grand Vitara 2022, one owner, annual mileage 50t. Km. Traveled more than one set of Hakki, the previous one was 8. I moved very confidently on the 8-ke, I could just overtake on the right on the highway at a speed of about 100 km / h. Aggressive driving, 8-ku rolled 2.5 seasons before the index of fours. I have already driven more than 10t. Km on 10-ke, I bought this season 2022. Impression: - Many times quieter as if not on winter tires - Braking distance is decently shorter on all surfaces - There is no feeling that on clean asphalt you can catch up with another car - Rows about the same - Send in a controlled skid harder - Handling is better
Cons
  • 1. ) The track is flying with heavy snow, temperature 0+, there is damp fresh snow when rebuilding across the track, there is no certainty as on 8-ke, not critical. 2. ) Like the rest of the previous one, it was slightly balanced.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Different pros: The car drives nice and straight. As expected, good wheels, predictability in various situations. Experience allows us to hope that the price will be justified by a long service life. Has cons: The width is narrowed due to the rounding of the profile, it seems that from this there is less adhesion to the coating.

The product is absolutely worthless, don't buy it.

The tires that you produce (namely hakkapelita 10r r18 low profile) are not suitable for our roads. For half a year of use, the season 2022 - 2022, two wheels - a breakdown on the side, a cut of 2-3 cm, cannot be repaired. Tires are terrible, I do not advise anyone to board a weak one !

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

1. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase. As always, BUT comes out . I decided to figure it out - what, in fact, is this "extended warranty"? When you read advertising booklets and listen to sellers, you get the feeling - this is it, happiness! Not only is the rubber itself cool (no kidding), but they will also be exchanged in case of operational damage! Well, it's great, right? But figs to you in both hands (at least in my particular case). Tires were bought involuntarily, on a business

Pros
  • 1. An interesting arrangement of spikes - the extreme ones are deployed (relative to the middle ones) by 180 degrees. 2. Spike design. Here we will look - quite possibly just marketing. If true, there is hope for a long mileage of the spikes. 3. Really quiet. Before that, there were Gislaved Nord Frost 200 SUVs in this size, which themselves are not very noisy (whoever got into the car for the first time did not believe that there were spikes), but after the replacement it became clear - yes, Hakka 10p is quieter. 4. It's too early to evaluate comfort and handling - I drove only 350 km at a speed of 75 km / h (running in), but the first impression is that the bumps are more rounded, or something. Although it may seem. 5. The consumption will be seen of course, but so far the feeling is that the consumption is less by about 0.5-0.6 l / 100 km.
Cons
  • 1. Not yet.

The right product for me, the price suited me.

5. Manageability. Predictability and the ability to maneuver during demolition is perhaps the most important characteristic for all-wheel drive owners. I don’t know what the Japanese “engineered” there, but B1 is really the best in this discipline. On any surface, even on a frozen slippery road keeps the road perfectly. On the RR Evoque, hard acceleration, drifts and turns are always under control. Already it becomes scary, and she bites into the road and rushing. None of these 4 tires are…

Pros
  • ADVANTAGES Moderately soft, without pronounced reinforcements, but durable. The best acceleration among classmates, easy, calm and confident. The quietest of the studded, probably due to narrowing. FLAWS Due to the cut of the side edges of the tread, the control of handling during drift has worsened. If not for this little thing, it would be the best. COMMENT Auto LR FR 2 + RR Evoque. The main habitat of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. It just so happened that this year it ran in the top 3 of our market. Michelin X-Ice North 4 SUV, Pirelli Scorpion Ice Zero 2 and Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10p SUV. Before them stood Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5 Sport Utility and Bridgestone BLIZZAK Spike-01. A total of 5 tires, all have the same size (235/60 R18), the same four-wheel drive vehicles, the same driving style, the same habitat. In general, the following can be said about the new products: - if you have a simple sedan or a light crossover, and you prefer a calm driving style, at permitted speeds, then you can take any of them. But there are still small differences between them. Due to the lack of this information on the Internet, I had to extract it myself, empirically. I hope you find it useful. 1. Real dimensions. In the same size (235/60 R18) the tread width is different. H5, P2 and B1 - 200 mm., H10 - 190 mm., M4 - 180 mm. Yes, I know that according to their laws it is impossible to measure in this way, (corresponded with MICHELIN experts), but I proceed from my own experience, and not from information in press releases. Therefore, for heavy and powerful cars or for an active driving style, it is better to take for H10 - one, and for M4 - two sizes wider than recommended. These two new products have no stock, everything is on the verge.
Cons
  • Another difference between the H10 and M4 from the rest is the absence of protruding edges on the edges of the tread, they are cut off. As a result, safety and manageability deteriorated in difficult situations. 2. Braking. Here, in principle, everyone is the same and the differences are minimal, with the exception of some nuances. On packed snow, the M4 has the best deceleration. On the wet road at P2. On loose snow at H10. On the frozen slippery asphalt, everything is “good”, with the exception of the M4. It simply carries it, as if there are no spikes, but mini-skates. 3. Noise. The most controversial discipline I just want to write to Mitsubishi owners that they have no right to complain about the noise of rubber, since they did not pay for it when buying a car, but I won’t. Noise - all studded tires have, quiet studded tires do not exist and this is a fact. All four tires make about the same noise in winter. If you really nitpick, the H10 is the quietest of them, especially at speed. Most feared was the noise from the P2. But it turned out to be surprisingly quiet, at least the noise is not annoying at all. The only comment on the noise appears at positive temperatures. At the same time, the noise mainly comes not from the spikes, but from the huge contact patch of soft lamellas with the road. It is directly felt as she clings to every millimeter and tubercle. But the M4 is a disappointment. Yes, it is quiet, but at certain temperatures and speeds. And it can be very noisy, especially with increasing speed. Of course, there is no bleeding from the ears, but some ranges of this noise are infuriating. I couldn't get used to it. 4. Exchange rate stability. With acceleration, stop the inter-row porridge, ice or snow blockage, level off and also safely return to their row. The most calm and safe feeling during this maneuver gives, oddly enough, H5. No one on this list gives a safer and more predictable behavior. B1 - asks to "give up the gas" to improve grip. H10 - keeps perfectly only until demolition. P2 - lets you know about its width. M4 - always only with a prayer.

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

215/65 R16 Chose for a long time, maybe this is my first spike. The rubber is soft, the spikes are visually and to the touch, twice as thick as on MICHELIN XIN4, the price was not the highest, and it fit perfectly on Cretu)) At first, it was not possible to drive with open windows . With closed norms, but there was an extraneous rumble of thorns. After rolling the spikes, it was 600-800 km for me, it became quiet like in the summer. (summer I have TOYO OPEN COUNTRY U / T is quite soft and…

Pros
  • studded Velcro
Cons
  • not yet discovered

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I chose between Michelin xin 4 and Nokian 10r. Michelin was offered last year and much more expensive, and it was decided to take Nokian (in principle, it cannot be old), because the car was equipped with Nokian Hakkapelitta R 2022 with a 6mm tread left, and I would drive them further, but only on ice they already held rather weakly, the rubber became harder to the touch, and I just wanted to try the new product. I found it at a good price, 55480 for a set, and ordered it, they brought it…

Pros
  • Quiet for studded tires, smooth ride. Excellent braking properties and good grip in corners.
Cons
  • In my size 245/55 R19 there is no wheel protection.

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

07/23/2022 I took Nokian hakkapeliitta 10p suv 225/65 r17 tires from the store. Before that, there were hakkapeliitta 7 suv and they were very pleased, for 4 seasons not a single spike flew out, but the tires became stiffer and therefore decided to change. Since official representatives everywhere write that the quality of tires produced in 2022 is not inferior to Finnish ones, I decided to buy these tires as described "of the highest quality." As a result, during the inspection, I was…

Pros
  • Haven't used it yet, so I can't say.
Cons
  • One spike was crushed very deeply and such products were released from the factory.

Good product, not disappointed.

Good afternoon Yesterday I changed tires from Dunlop (non-studded) to Nokian 10 for LX450. To be honest, I expected more: that it would immediately go famously through snowdrifts and ice and along the highway and probably the car would start climbing trees. Having overestimated the tires, and turning off his brains, apparently, he almost flew into the back of a passenger car on the Mozhaisk Highway, but dodged crackling with ABS. In general, in terms of rolling and snow porridge, there is no…

Pros
  • No noise, good grip on snow during maneuvers, as well as driving through snowdrifts
Cons
  • The operation of the ABS when braking on a snowy roll, I expected more when changing Velcro to studded.
