I like the organization it brings

It organizes socket boxes very nicely. Even if your rosettes are engraved or etched, it's usually impossible to see what they are without taking them out. This tray organizes them well and you can see what you have and what's missing if you left it somewhere. I like it. One thing: the working end of the socket fails. If you put it up they might not go all the way down. Not a big deal, except you can't see if your socket is 6 or 12 points. I put a mark with a mark at the position of 12 points…

No more heads when you open the drawer

I have a set of Husky heads and almost all of the heads fit in the right racks. Some did not and demanded a shave. Remember that the end of the square shank socket is sticking up. Given that this is a versatile device and there are differences in outlet design from brand to brand, I'm happy with its performance. My only issue at the moment is that my socket kit contained 12 point and 6 point versions of some sockets leaving some freestanding to the side. I just wish the drawer in my tool box…

It's difficult to get out of the tray, you can't grab the base.

I bought these for my toolbox as I didn't have 1/4" sockets and couldn't get just one set so I bought a brand new set (this item). They seem to work great and I've guided them to where I have to try multiple sockets until I find the right one, the only issue I've found is I have a couple of small ones that don't hold onto so they sit on the top of the tray , and if you can't lift them by the base they're hard to get out of the tray on the top of a tool box.I wouldn't want to use them for the…

Worked great for me Heads and socket sets

I'm tired of piling heads in our volunteer fire department's toolbox. I've tried some "sticks" with spring clips but they didn't work - the bushings either fell off or couldn't be removed. I ordered them and am very satisfied. In fact, we have so many sockets (both 6 and 12) that I ordered another set. We all have Craftsman heads and the only problem I had with assembly was that the smallest 3/8 drive head has a very small hole in the socket and is too tight on the rod. (I've been bothered by…

Great outlet organizer but NOT for people with OCD

I bought this outlet organizer because I liked the easy access and clear visual labeling on it. I was in dire need of an organizer to keep my newly purchased tool box under control. I work as a weekend mechanic but had to get organized as I always spent most of my time looking in random boxes for tools instead of working on my car. Upon arrival of the promoter, I was shocked at how many outlets I didn't have enough of. It drove me insane looking at the incomplete and empty pens. It turned out…
