Just not strong enough

I really wanted it to work. This is a great idea and potential but the tool broke on my first attempt to use it to hold my cam pulley to loosen the bolts. Not only was the wrench badly bent, but the pins had also come loose from the retaining threads. It might work in an ultra light application, but not for holding anything with any torque. To their credit, the seller returned a full refund with no issues.

This delayed Jack's big supply project.

I have always been satisfied with the OTC quality and price. This tool was no exception and I used it on a very large service job where I had to service 26 100 ton jacks. The tool adjusted and fixed itself very well. It also helps with the cheat tube attached to my ratchet. It was a bit difficult to hold onto the fork, but it's a 2-hole wrench. The tool did its job perfectly and the price is nice. If you need a wrench, you won't be disappointed.

This will NOT work for BMW E30 A-pillars

BMW uses a four hole nut to attach the A-pillar cartridge to the strut body. I foolishly thought removing that nut would work. The pins fit but the tool isn't strong enough to handle the torque and just twists and turns and makes a mess. The right tool is a 4 pin socket (or just use a pipe wrench with sharp teeth and some heat). Still, it's a good tool and I'm happy when I need it. Just throw that away for anyone who wants to make an E30 A-pillar with it.

Very durable and many settings.

I was nervous that this tool wouldn't work. I have quite a large hydraulic that needs to be disassembled. First I tried several other spam keys with no success so I broke down and bought this one. I try not to buy any specialty or special tools as that's not what I make a living from, but I had no choice. Although I'm actually glad I bought it. It has several different pins to fit different holes and the tool is sturdy. My cap was very difficult to remove. The square hole in the handle fits a…

Fits Toyota Sienna engine

I used this universal tool when changing the timing belt on a 3.0 liter Toyota Sienna engine and it worked as advertised. After adding a 1/2" ratchet to lengthen this tool and keep the cam gear more or less stationary, I loosened the cam gear bolt with a 1/2" breaker plus pipe extension (the top half of my jack was detachable). the handle served this purpose) plus considerable effort. To tighten the bolts to the specified 94 ft-lbs on reassembly, I replaced the breaker bar with a 1/2-inch…

A well made tool essential for certain repairs

While trying to replace a timing belt I came across a crankshaft pulley bolt which was last tightened by someone who has a Zeus air wrench. . Nothing could move it, including extensive application of penetrating oil, heat, and a 350-foot impact wrench (the spec for the bolt was 134 lb-ft). This well-designed tool, combined with absurd leverage, finally helped me turn the bolt. Now I consider it an important part of my toolbox for future work. Although this tool is labeled as a 'Toyota' tool, I…

Heavy Duty L-Wrench

Although listed as a Toyota L-Wrench, I bought it primarily to strip down some engines and special equipment. It had no problem with the torque I put on the little pins to pull things apart. There is a 1/2" square drive at the end of the wrench which really gives you extra leverage when working with a broken rod or a regular ratchet. The kit includes pins 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 10mm. Fully open I was able to expand the wrench to just over 5 inches. The blown case holds the pins and…
