2003 Honda Civic Ball Joint

I don't know why people are complaining about these ball joint kits, they work great if you even know what you're doing. I already have a basic OTC press kit and a few other random adapters, but when my wife's 2003 Honda Civic needed a ball joint, I took this kit, pressed the old, pressed the new in just 10 minutes. . The quality is what I would expect from OTC, a quality tool, as long as you don't overuse it.

Does the Job: Steering & Suspension Tools

Good. he removed the old ball joint on my honda with the purchase of an OTC clamp C 7248 without drama. Just popped out after a few spins with The Bad Breaker. No ball joint attachment is provided after you take out the old one. OTC38355 - OTC Tools installation of the cup. I need to return a new ball joint: OTC (OTC38355A) Attaching the cup Instructions say OTC38355 (no "A" at the end)

Doesn't work properly!

I bought this for my 92 Accord EX. The launch adapter and receiver cup were too long to fit in the C-frame and I couldn't push the old ball joint out. After playing around with it for about 20 minutes I gave up and finally put the head on the ball joint and knocked it out with a hammer. Then I couldn't install the new ball joint with the tool as this set does not include the 38355 cup or the 7249 ball joint kit, so I ended up hammering in the new ball joint as well.
