Practical application

Takes a little time to get used to the closing clasp. You slide the twisted chain's end loop through the frame of the lock, alongside the a plastic small lip/big lip with two different sized holes, which functions as the plate that enables the lock to attach to the chain wire while shrinking the opening in the safe's soft interior (which is webbed with wire too.) One hole is big enough for a hard plastic bubble which is a little wider than the small of the two holes in the closing clasp/lip…

Pros
  • Computers & Accessories
Cons
  • Must be constantly monitored while in use, adding additional stress and responsibility to travel

High quality pack, as advertised

I used this during a six-month backpacking trip when I was staying in hostels that didn't have lockers, or when I needed to lock things up near my bed before sleeping. It's hardly thief-proof, but makes your stuff much less appealing than all the unlocked stuff that typically sits unattended in hostels, so that was good enough for me. Definitely gave me some peace of mind. It's not exactly ultralight, but by no means heavy either, so I didn't mind the extra weight in my backpack.

Pros
  • Withstands wear and tear for long-term use
Cons
  • Only suitable for storing small items, such as documents, cash, or jewelry

Ease of mind on my review.

Whenever I'm travelling to tropical destinations and want to spend time at the beaches, my mind is put at ease with the Pacsafe TravelSafe. I can put my valuables inside, wrap it around a tree or a couple beach chairs, throw a towel over it and I feel comfortable that it will keep my valuables safe. Can a pair of cutters cut through it? Absolutely. Will it stop crimes of opportunity? Yes, I feel that it will.

Pros
  • Can be locked to a stationary object for added peace of mind
Cons
  • Requires a power source to operate, limiting its use in remote or off-grid locations

The 12L Climbing Pack held the small stuff

This was a versitile item and held the small stuff during out-of-sight times while in Argentina. We needed more Pacsafe items to make the safetyNet complete. Here is the list .Needed a way to secure stuff when out-of-sight. The Pacsafe 85 and the 120 did the job by allowing the backpack with a laptop, tablet, and other stuff including travel documents to be secure. The lock was a problem. Multiple keys would open. Sometimes it would stick. This did not offset the VALUE of PEACE of MIND…

Pros
  • Multiple pockets for organization
Cons
  • Doesn't come with any additional security features, such as an alarm or GPS tracker

Great Product best in my review

This travel safe worked perfectly. We travelled outside the country and the room safe did not have room for all of our stuff (kids electronics, etc) This travel safe was easy to use and made us feel safer when we were away from our valuables. We are glad we had it on our trip and plan to bring it every time we travel. It is large enough to hold a laptop computer as well as many other items. Would recommend to anyone who travels and wants extra security for their things

Pros
  • 0.5 x 20.3 x 13.7 inches
Cons
  • Only 12L of storage space, limiting its use for longer trips
