Safe and functional! suitable for dogs

I bought this to teach my rottweiler not to chase chickens, horses and when my husband is on a tractor. If you know anything about Rotts, they are very strong willed. I started with vibration but had to move on to shock. I was a bit apprehensive about using the shock button, but everything I read suggested it didn't hurt the dog. I also asked my neighbors. Let me tell you all that, I'm very happy with the results. All I have to say is "No" and he obeys my command and comes over and sits next to

Poor/lack of battery life

I was happy when I first used this set a year ago. We kept it in the box and when I took it out a second time (we had young children and I was excited to use it to control dogs) the collars wouldn't charge. I had to charge them for over 24 hours only to find that the 2nd collar didn't charge at all and the 1st collar only stayed charged for about 5 minutes. The remote also wouldn't charge and it took over 24 hours to reach 2 bars of battery power, which wasn't enough to sync the collar. All in…

Dissatisfied! Edited Version - Happy!

I liked it at first but then I wanted to charge it and it wouldn't charge. And now it just stopped working and this problem started happening in August so we've only had it about a month and now the return date is past I think that's just awesome! So I'm not happy about it at all! So it was a waste of money. So here's the update. The company contacted me and asked what they could do to make it better, so I told them to either refund my money or send me a new one. So they sent me a new one and…

I would recommend it to anyone having trouble getting it.

It worked so well as a training tool that it didn't take long to dissuade my dog from being aggressive towards neighbors over the fence. She used to run very aggressively towards the fence and behaved just as aggressively towards them, posing and throwing a real tantrum. She ignored orders to stop this behavior until I got to her seat. After just a few days of using this enhancement tool, she won't even become aggressive towards them, just ignores them. I had to use the shock option maybe…

Great training collar

Works great! Last week we were sitting with the dog and one of the dogs decided that chasing chickens and plucking feathers was a fun new game. We quickly got out our new training collar and started explaining to them that chasing chickens is bad game. The collar worked great and was easy to set up. The screen clearly shows the intensity level and is easy to read. There are 3 buttons: the top one is a beep, the second one (yellow) has a bar so you can easily find your place in the controller…

Okay, the jury is still out on durability.

I bought this collar to use around the home, garden and park to reduce wear and tear on my $800 Garmin GPS/training collar. I've only been using it for two days, so I can't comment on durability yet. Here's what I know so far: 1] The stimulation is not a continuous tingling or stinging as long as the button is held down. This is a series of sharper clicks that repeat as long as the button is held down. While it's not necessarily a bad thing, it's not the same as the constant tingling you see…

  • Very good value for money

I LOVE this collar and company!

I love this training collar! We have a 1 year old German Shepherd Pyrenees mix that weighs about 100 pounds or more and to say it is alpha is an understatement. When we started feeding him at the age of 6 weeks, we already knew that this was going to be a challenge. This collar changed his training so much. It has three settings; Sound, Vibration and Shock. We only had to use a shock on low settings a couple of times when it ignored our command and vibrate alert. That was many, many months ago.
