I like being able to order a new ignition switch for a low price instead of having to go to a Polaris dealer to replace the switch after I lose my key.

The product arrived on time as promised. However, once installed, it lets the car start but shuts off the engine as soon as you touch the throttle. The Polaris OEM switch that replaced it worked great. Polaris Ranger 700 2007

The ignition switch I ordered was completely useless. I should have looked into it better before buying. The Polaris Ranger has an additional "click" in the ignition that controls the headlights. This switch is a standard switch used only to start the engine and does not replace the actual switch on any Polaris Rangers 500, 700, 800 or 900 models.

This is a replacement for the Polaris Ranger. Easy to install and works well so far. The problem is the keys. This product does not use the regular Polaris key blank. The local locksmith says he can't get blanks for these switches. Made in China. The keys are thinner than usual. If you only want two buttons, a switch is fine. If you ever need more keys, just buy a Polaris switch.
